Sweden's powerhouse for creating gaming content for casinos, NetEnt, initiates 2019 in lavish, artistic style by introducing the pristine new video slot that evokes the glory days of Paris and early XX century style.
Originally announced back in November, Turn Your Fortune is a 5x4 reel, 40-paylines eye-candy displaying, as the official release puts it, "majestic grandeur, stunning collectable symbols and exciting game mechanics."
Tracing Way Back to Aesthetic Times
What the developer really means and tries to convey with this is that a certain segment of players - that with a penchant for all things highly artistic - may enjoy this game a little more than everyone else...
...this is because the game is directly inspired by the French Art Nouveau, the magnificent artistic movement that founds it applications in painting, illustrations, architecture and design interior - with artists such as Mucha and Klimt as its main representatives.
A rare and interesting subject matter with so much to show for is an ideal playground for innovative and imaginative creative minds which are found aplenty within NetEnt's roster - symbols adorned in gold and colorful precious stones, among which you will find red lions, orange owls, yellow turtles, green fish and more, all designed as outrageously expensive jewelry, are found on reels.
Collecting the symbols will make players go up the coin win ladder on the left side of the screen. A wild symbol is represented by the elegant pink butterfly, while a magnificent peacock is the scatter.
Unique and Interesting Features
Once the player manages to land at least three scatter symbols, the game will prompt him to play a take on a Wheel of Fortune-style game that will determine how many bonus spins he or she will get (options include anything from 7 to 13)...
...but also with what multiplier and which collectible symbol the bonus round will be played - it will also grant a certain amount of Fortune Turns (essentially, re-spins in a different guise). These Fortune Re-Spins can pay up to 200 the amount of wager.
Comments NetEnt's Director of Game Products Bryan Upton:
"Turn Your Fortune offers great and innovative game mechanics. I’m sure players will have an exciting experience as they work their way up the Fortune ladder. The Art Nouveau-inspired theme with golden details and intricate décor, will take players back to France in the late 19thCentury."

As a reminder, NetEnt released in December a slot game that is, thematically, a far cry from Turn Your Fortune - futuristic, robotic and sfi-fi-esque to the core, Wild-O-Tron 3000 is the unofficial sequel to 2013's Alien Robots.
In the midst of this flurry of creative output, the company finalized their selection process for the permanent chief financial officer with Lars Johansson, who succeeded Therese Hillman back in September, emerging as the Board's choice. Mr Johansson was an interim CFO prior to this and has taken on or, rather, proceeded with his duties immediately.

Ah, Turn Your Fortune is really a nice slot to play for fun and big wins. This game reminds me of the Automata by Jacques de Vaucanson. The game graphics and sounds are very nice to give the impression of the Automata. After a few clumsy new games for the last 1 year or so, NetEnt began to make good games like this again.
