Back NetEnt Summons The Kraken in Ocean's Treasure

The countdown for this year’s most engaging deep sea inspired video slot release is ticking, as NetEnt becomes the third software producer in 2020 to awaken the Kraken in one of its high-end offerings. Ocean’s Treasure is taking players to a world of sunken fortunes, guarded by the legendary cephalopod of gigantic size.

By extending the series, the developer will be joining other premium software providers like Pragmatic Play and Thunderkick, who recently contributed to the online gaming market with “Release the Kraken” and “Beat the Beast: Kraken’s Lair” slot machines.

Ocean’s Treasure will provide all adventure-seekers a chance to find hidden prizes in the long-lost city of Atlantis, represented as part of the standard 5x3 grid. According to the description, this title includes stacked wilds, complimentary rounds and an increasing level multiplier, including a flow of exciting animations during every spin.

Advancing Deeper into the Ocean

There is no easy way to unlock Kraken’s treasures and players will have to collect at least three scatters to enter the 5-level extra spins mode. During this round, additional spins are awarded for every wild that appears on the reels, pushing players deeper into the ocean to unlock new levels and increase the multiplier up to twelve times!

Ocean’s Treasure has the potential to trigger up to 102 additional rounds and its theoretical return-to-player rate of 95.99% should be capable of delivering a dynamic gameplay, aimed at players who prefer high volatility. Bryan Upton, director of games at NetEnt commented about the studio’s latest product:

“Ocean Treasure’s combination of an immersive theme, striking graphics and anticipation building features is tailored to grab the attention of experienced slot fans and those in search of high-intensity during a play session. Awarding more Free Spins to lucky players than any other NetEnt game and the potential for huge prizes, this deep-sea slot will make a lucrative addition to our partners’ portfolio.”

The game is already available at many online venues along with the company’s previously rolled out releases Rise of Maya and Secret of the Stones. At the end of February, NetEnt will publish King of 3 Kingdoms across the operator network, a medium-high volatility game with 243 paylines and an RTP of 96.88 percent.

Among the popular fantasy games inspired by this sea monster is also the Eye of the Kraken, released in September 2015 as a 3x3 multi-slot with medium volatility and 8 betways, developed by Play’n GO.

A Tridimensional Marvel from the Deep

In terms of gameplay and engagement levels, the new title comes with 3D technology, state-of-the-art mechanics, an inspiring adventurous soundtrack and cinematic audio. Players can either start with a $0.15 bet and slowly progress as the game triggers its many charming features or go full-scale wagering with higher bets up to $300 a spin.

The biggest payouts are sparked off while progressing to the fifth level, whose wins are multiplied twelve times. In addition, the highest value symbols (diamond ore and message in a bottle) bring up to $30k for 5 matching symbols on one of the game’s 15 lines.
