The 2016 Global Gaming Awards event took place in Las Vegas on September 26th and NYX Gaming Group (NYX) took home the amazing honor of the ‘Top Digital Gaming Innovator’ award.
The company has been the subject of a fair share of content deals this year in the casino and lottery sectors. How are the award recipients chosen? A group of 60 industry experts are put together to review the year in gambling and recognize those stand out companies.
The ‘Witch Pickings’ video slot, developed by its game studio, NextGen, complete with unique bonus feature, tipped the scales and secured the award for the provider. The selections made during the bonus allows players to customize their game and maintain a level of control. It was also the first NYX game to introduce the Achievements feature, which was designed to grab the attention of younger players by tracking high scores.
