Play’n GO Adds Gothic Horror Slot Cursed Moon

Play’n GO has released Cursed Moon Power Collection, a gothic horror video slot that combines a vampire-hunting storyline with coin collection, a multiplier feature and a five-level progression system.

The game follows Dante, a former human who became a vampire after being cursed by the creature he once hunted. He rejects the vampire creed and turns his attention toward Dracula, hoping to end the curse and regain his human form. The setting uses haunted forests, castle silhouettes and a cursed moon, while symbols featuring wolves, zombies, Mr Hyde and vampires reinforce the horror theme.

Coin Collection Drives the Main Game

Cursed Moon Power Collection uses five reels and four symbols, with way wins created when matching symbols connect from left to right. Its main collection mechanic centres on Coins carrying cash values across the middle reels.

Slay Collector symbols can land on the outer reels. When they appear, they collect visible Coin values as well as Instant Win symbols. The Soul Fire Multiplier adds another layer to these collections. In the base game, Soul Fire Multiplier symbols landing on reel five increase the meter, with each symbol adding x1 to the multiplier. The accumulated value then applies to collected Coin and Instant Win amounts.

The multiplier does not affect pay way wins, keeping its role focused on the collection mechanics.

Five Levels Shape Free Spins

A separate progression meter tracks five levels across the base game and Free Spins. Level Up symbols increase the meter, while the benefits unlocked through progression become active during Free Spins.

Higher levels introduce stronger collection effects. These include doubled collection events and stacked cash symbols appearing across reels two, three and four. The fifth level adds a guaranteed cash pot on an outer reel, alongside its own collection behaviour.

The Free Spins feature carries these upgrades into the bonus round. Players can gain additional collection opportunities, stacked symbols across the central reels and guaranteed rewards as progression rises. The exact trigger details for Free Spins remain to be confirmed.

Level Lock symbols provide another way to preserve progress during Free Spins. When they appear, they can retain the player's unlocked level, allowing those enhancements to remain available in a later Free Spins round.

The game's narrative and mechanics are closely connected through Dante's hunt. As the character grows stronger, the collection, multiplier and progression systems also build toward higher feature levels.
