Playbook Fusion has introduced its flagship Playbook Football™ game to the Brazilian market through a partnership with Betano, making the real-money virtual football management betting title available to local players. The launch brings the product to Brazil for the first time and expands the UK-based provider’s footprint in a football-driven market.
The rollout sees Playbook Football™ distributed via Playbook Fusion’s proprietary remote gaming server, with Games Global supporting delivery as the company’s exclusive distribution partner. Betano, which holds a leading position in Brazil’s betting sector, will host the game for its customer base.
Football Management Meets Betting
Playbook Football™ takes cues from well-known mobile football management games, including FC Ultimate Team and Championship Manager. The format allows players to create and manage their own teams while participating in betting activity linked to in-game performance.
Participants can place bets, earn rewards, progress through divisions, and compete on leaderboards. The structure focuses on long-term engagement through team development rather than single-event wagering, offering a different approach from traditional virtual sports products.
Brazil’s strong football culture made the market a key target for the launch. Through Betano’s established platform, Playbook Fusion gains access to a large audience already engaged with football-related betting content.
Expansion Through A Leading Operator
Playbook Fusion Founder and CEO Steve Rogers described the agreement as a major step for the company. He said: “This is a milestone partnership for Playbook Fusion. Betano is the market leader in Brazil, and we expect Playbook Football™ to hit the spot with its players.
“Playbook Football™ offers an entirely new format for sports fans and bettors to engage with, delivering progressive gameplay, ownership and tons of added value compared to standard betting and virtual sports games. It’s all about skill development, persistence, content strategy and being part of a community.
“Playbook Football’s early performance shows just how well it has resonated with players, and now that it’s live with yet another tier one operator we expect this trajectory of success to continue.”
The partnership adds a management-style product to Betano’s football offering, supported by Playbook Fusion’s in-house technology and Games Global’s distribution framework.
Brazil As A Priority Market
Betano operates in Brazil under Kaizen Gaming, where football plays a central role in player engagement. The company continues to expand its portfolio with products designed around the sport’s popularity.
Christina Kiousi, Head of RNG at Kaizen Gaming, said: “Brazil is one of our most important markets, with football playing a central role in how players engage with our Betano platform. With Playbook Football™, we are introducing a format that feels highly relevant to our audience, combining strategy, progression and competition in a way that goes beyond traditional betting experiences. This launch reflects our product strategy, which focuses on providing our customers with innovative, high-quality and engaging content.”
The launch positions both companies to deepen engagement in Brazil’s regulated betting environment.
