Playson Launches Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin

Playson has expanded its Coin Strike series with Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin, a new slot that brings back the supplier’s MULTICOIN mechanic alongside an expanded 3x5 reel layout. The game builds on the established Coin Strike format while adding a feature that can apply random multipliers of up to x20 to collected coin values.

The MULTICOIN symbols first appeared in Thunder Coins XXL: Multicoin. In the new release, the lightning-marked symbols can activate the MULTICOIN Feature when they land with a Coin Symbol. The feature gathers the values of coins in play before applying its multiplier to the accumulated amount.

MULTICOIN Adds Another Route To Bigger Wins

The MULTICOIN mechanic can also enter the base game through a random addition. When Coin symbols land without a MULTICOIN, the game can place one on reel two. That event can activate the MULTICOIN Feature or create another route into the Bonus Game.

Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin also retains the Collect Feature. Players can trigger it by landing a Strike Coin with a shimmering Coin. Once activated, the Strike Coin gathers the values displayed on all Coins, including Jackpot Coins, and adds the amount to the current Main Game win or the Total Win during the Bonus Game.

Four jackpots are available through the corresponding coloured jackpot coins. The awards range from a x15 Mini to a x1,000 Grand and can appear during both the MULTICOIN and Collect Features.

The Bonus Game uses a separate reel setup focused on Coins, sticky Strike Coins and sticky MULTICOINS. Coin symbols on reels one and three, together with a Strike Coin or MULTICOIN, can lead into the feature. Players receive three respins at the start, while each newly added symbol restores the counter to three. When the respins finish, the game adds the values of all Strike Coins and MULTICOINS to the Total Win.

Pile of Gold and Extra Bet Options

Pile of Gold provides another possible entry into the Bonus Game. The feature can activate randomly when a Coin lands on the reels. Once triggered, the game adds Coins, Strike Coins or MULTICOINS in quantity before launching the Bonus Game.

Playson has also included two Extra Bet Features and two Bonus Games that players can purchase. One Extra Bet doubles the chance of entering the Bonus Game. The other guarantees a Strike Coin or MULTICOIN symbol on every spin while tripling the chance of triggering the Bonus Game.

The title also includes Wilds, in-game jackpots and the Collect Feature alongside its bonus options.
