Back Pragmatic Play Enters Greek Market by Acquiring A1 Supplier License

Another Software Supplier Enter Greece!

After Red Rake Gaming, 1X2 Network and Oryx Gaming acquired access to Greece through July and August, a new provider appeared ready to join the market and launch its top slot and live casino titles in the country – Pragmatic Play.

On September 15, the leading game studio has been officially granted a Type A1 supplier license by the Hellenic Gambling Commission, allowing it to deliver innovative products to the Greek market under new regulations.

Teaming up with Kaizen and Novibet

To strengthen its position in the Greek market further, Pragmatic Play has even formed new partnerships with Kaizen Gaming and Novibet, a leading GameTech company and a sports betting site.

In the following days, Greek players will get access to a series of in-demand titles such as Party 2, Sweet Bonanza and Wolf Gold, but the studio’s latest releases YumYum Powerways and Chilli Heat Megaways will also go live.

During base play in the first title, three or more scatters can trigger extra spins, and since it’s a multi-step bonus game, YumYum Powerways is enhanced by outer reels that can deliver big wins, ranging to 16,834 betways.

Chilli Heat Megaways, on the other hand, is a “well-timed upgrade” to the provider’s immensely popular original game, Chilli Heat.

By launching a sequel, the supplier intends to turn up the temperature and deliver a true Mexican street party experience to remember.

Obtaining the license from HGC is in line with Pragmatic Play’s long-term goals to bring the best-in-class casino content to regulated and emerging jurisdictions.

On that note, the director of compliance at the company, Sheriff Khamoura, said:

We are thrilled to take a crucial step into the Greek market by being granted this A1 License. This is a great opportunity for us to continue delivering our expanding product offering to Greek Operators.

Next Stop: Brazil

Amongst other things this week, Pragmatic Play has appointed Marco Pequeno as the new country director for Brazil. His new tasks will include service and development of fresh opportunities in the targeted market.

The company’s new key hire will also be responsible for increased presence across Latin America which has grown exponentially in the past few months.

As the region continues to show tremendous commercial potential, the studio wants to put extra efforts in gaining territorial exposure, such as the recent partnership with Trebalia.

According to the report, Marco Pequeno, the new country director for the Brazilian market will try to develop new opportunities in the targeted market locally.

On a related note, Victor Arias, vice president of Latam Operations said that the company’s dedication to growing in the region is evident, but its aspirations for expansion in Brazil represent a fantastic milestone that will increase market share further on the entire continent.
