Pragmatic Play has strengthened its foothold in Latin America with the opening of a state-of-the-art live casino studio in Bogotá, Colombia. The new facility marks a major step in the provider’s regional growth strategy, designed to deliver premium, localised gaming content across Latin America’s fast-growing regulated markets.
Developed and operated by ARRISE, a key service provider to the iGaming sector, the Bogotá studio represents an investment exceeding $15 million and is set to create more than 1,500 jobs. It features over 100 gaming tables, offering Pragmatic Play’s top live casino titles such as roulette and blackjack, hosted by native Spanish and Portuguese-speaking dealers to ensure a regionally authentic experience.
Equipped with Smart Studio technology, the facility allows operators to apply unique branding and custom layouts. Pragmatic Play will also roll out Latin America–themed versions of international hits such as Mega Roulette, as well as brand-new live game shows launching in 2026.
Paul Dever, CEO at ARRISE, said: “We are very proud to unveil this new studio – a cutting-edge facility that goes far beyond premium live casino content. With localised games, native-speaking dealers, flexible branding options, and full regulatory alignment, it stands as a clear example of our commitment to helping operators deliver truly authentic, player-centric live casino experiences across Latin America.”
Irina Cornides, COO at Pragmatic Play, added: “This new live casino studio in Colombia represents a major milestone in our native content expansion strategy across Latin America. We’ve long recognised the immense potential of the region and remain committed to delivering premium, localised experiences tailored to the needs of each market.”
Pragmatic Play currently produces up to eight slot titles per month while offering Live Casino and Bingo products through a single API for streamlined integration.
Sports Betting and Live Casino Innovations
Alongside its Latin American growth, Pragmatic Play Sports has upgraded its data visualisation tools, enhancing both pre-match and in-play widgets. The expanded coverage now includes 18 major sports, over 30,000 events per month, and 4,000 competitions, available in nearly 40 languages.
Pre-match widgets now feature detailed head-to-head insights and tournament statistics, while in-play tools deliver real-time data, live scores, and incident tracking with ultra-low latency. Through collaborations with Sportradar, Stats Perform, Genius Sports, and Infront Sports & Media, Pragmatic Play offers official data and streaming from premier leagues like the NBA, NFL, UEFA Champions League, Premier League, and ATP Tour.
New Game Show and Strategic Shift
The company recently expanded its live casino catalogue with Money Time, a high-energy game show built around a 54-segment wheel. Players can hit multipliers up to 10x or trigger one of four bonus rounds—Cash Roll, Coin Rush, Bank Heist, and Money Time—each offering distinct win opportunities.
In a strategic move, Pragmatic Play has also exited the U.S. sweepstakes casino market amid tightening regulations. A company spokesperson said the decision was made “in light of regulatory developments and evolving legislation,” adding, “We remain committed to the highest standards of compliance and will continue to engage transparently with regulators.”
By expanding in Latin America while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and innovation, Pragmatic Play continues to shape the future of global iGaming entertainment.
