Chelsea are looking to consolidate their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they face Everton at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. The Blues currently hold a seven-point advantage over reigning champions Manchester City after securing a 2-1 win at Aston Villa last weekend.
Chelsea are on a four-game unbeaten run, with three wins and a draw, and have the best attack in the league. Everton are tough to beat but they are struggling to get wins instead of draws. The Toffees have recorded three draws in their last four matches, including the goalless stalemate in the Merseyside derby last weekend. Roberto Martinez and his men are currently 12th in the league table and they need wins in order to move away from the relegation zone.
Last time they met Chelsea and Everton produced a spectacular game, the Blues won it 6-3 at Goodison Park in August. Cesc Fabregas should make his return after overcoming a hamstring problem while Gary Cahill should be fit as well. Filipe Luis will miss out through injury while Diego Costa is unavailable as he completes a three-game ban. Steven Naismith, Leon Osman and Leighton Baines are all in doubt for Everton, while Muhamed Besic is not entirely certain of featuring either.
Probable line-ups:
Chelsea: Courtois - Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta - Fabregas, Matic - Willian, Oscar, Hazard - Drogba
Everton: Robles - Oviedo, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman - Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas - Naismith, Lukaku
My prediction: Chelsea to win 1-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Chelsea win - 1/3 Draw - 9/2 Everton win - 10/1

Every time when Chelsea play against Everton that is spectacle. Everton also had their chances, Lukaku miss great opportunity to score and if he scored that I think that it will be hard for Chelsea to win even one point. But he didn't score and Chelsea was lucky and that shot by Willian find his way into the net and at the end Chelsea deserved that win.

Chelsea kept the 3 points at home and kept the unbeaten record in Premier League. In my opinion it was an avarage match with big Chelsea pressure. 21 shots and from it 7 shots on goal from chelsea from it they scored 1 goal at the 89th minute. They worked hard they deserve the victory. Unfortunately my over 2,5 goal is...

I think that Chelsea will win here but odds on Chelsea is very very small. 1/3 is odd on Chelsea win and they play against Everton. I will never bet on Chelsea. Everton is great team and they know how to play big matches. I think that they won't lose here easy and they will score at least one goal. My prediction is 2 -...

This is very interesting match to watch. Chelsea is closer to victory in this match, but will not be easy. Everton played well last couple games and they have very motivated Lukaku. Chelsea will struggle to make up for the absence of Diego Costa. Fortunately for them, the team returns Fabregas and it will help them make more chances to score. My prediction 1-0 Chelsea win. Or maybe 1-1.

Every result except a Chelsea win will be a big surprise for me. Everton are nowhere near to the form from the last season and I don't expect that they will be able to change that exactly in this game. This shouldn't be that hard for Jose Mourinho's team. Everton is hard opponent for Chelsea, but only when playing on their homefield. This time, game is on Stanford Bridge and betting 1 won't raise any conserns. Upset might still come, but I strongly belive that Chelsea won't give anyone that satisfaction.

Chelsea is likely to win this clash. There are some argument to prove it. Firstly Chelsea is very strong at home (Stamgord Bridge). from the last 5 matches they beat Everton 3 times and they did draw two times. One of these draws was FA cup. They didnt get defeat at this season at home. 10 wins and only 1 draw next to it...

They didnt get defeat at this season at home. 10 wins and only 1 draw next to it they scored 25 goals and 4 concededed. It is amazing stat. Opposite of it Everton is not the best in away. They loose 6 times, 3 wins and 3 draw. They scores 14 goals and concede 18 goals. Everybod can feel the difference. Everton has a lot of injuried players like Pienaar, Baines or McGeady. But their best scorer eill play (Lukaku). Diego Costa wont play in Chelsea becouse of a red card. I expect a Chelsea win with 1 goal and 2,5 over maybe.
