Manchester United travel to Everton on Saturday afternoon looking for the three points that could move them up to the top of the Premier League table. However, recent history shows that The Red Devils have lost on each of their last three visits to Goodison Park. Everton kept a clean sheet in each of those three games. Before this winning streak the Toffees had won just one of twenty home matches against Manchester United.
Everton have lost just two of their 10 games in all competitions this season and are currently seventh in the Premier League table. However, they have been unable to record back-to-back victories in the league so far. Their last five games yielded nine points, but they had some tough matches against Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. Leighton Baines is still out of contention, his absence surely counts as Everton have not scored any goals from set pieces so far this season. Tim Cleverley is also out but John Stones and Ross Barkley will make their return in the starting line-up.
Manchester United are currently third in the Premier League table, just two points behind current leaders and local rivals Manchester City. The last match before the international break was a poor one for the Red Devils though, they were hammered 3-0 by Arsenal. Wayne Rooney has not scored in the last 17 league matches away from home, but now United have youngster Anthony Martial, who has already proven that he can score in the Premier League. United's away form is not ideal, they have grabbed just six points out of four matches so far, which is fewer than West Brom have snatched. Bastian Schweinsteiger is unavailable through injury, but Wayne Rooney is expected to be fit.
Probable line-ups:
Everton: Howard - Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Galloway - McCarthy, Barry - Deulofeu, Barkley, Naismith - Lukaku
Man United: De Gea - Young, Smalling, Blind, Darmian - Schneiderlin, Carrick - Mata, Rooney, Depay - Martial
My prediction: Manchester United to win 2-1.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Everton win - 3.25 Draw - 3.40 Man United win - 2.37

It was another match between these two teams with over 2.5 goals. Manchester United finds their good form now and they play well. Despite Everton had the possesion of the ball (52% - 48%) and more scoring opportunities ( 12-10) they did not score and lost with 0-3. Everton also plays a good football but today Manchester...

After slow start, we can see that United is in great form, and I believe that they can run for Premiere league title. Although they have several problems in game, they are winning games, and that is characteristic of big teams. Van Gal is surely man for this job, and surely he will drive this team to great success.

What a victory for Manchester United. They played great on this hard away game and I think that this match show to us that we must take Manchester United serious this year and right now they are first favorites for winning Premier league this season and if they continue to play like this there is no question about it.

Will be happy if Johnny's prediction (2-1 for MU) become reality but honestly I don't expect United to win that one. They play toughly on the road and although Goodison is a good place over the years for MU I expect Everton to be favourite in that one. If the host team plays at their best it will be a tough, tough game for...

This is always an interesting match, Wayne Rooney returns to Goodison Park. Everton has a great defense, Stones and Jagielka plays for national team, Howard is a great goalkeper. Good defence agains Rooney, Depay, Martial, Mata.. I can not wait to start game. Man United has the advantage, but we can expect a surprise.
