Reflex Gaming has expanded its Dublin Up slot franchise with the release of Dublin Up Pots O’ Gold, a follow-up title that introduces new prize mechanics while retaining the Irish folklore setting that helped establish the original game's popularity.
Released on June 4, the game takes players into a fantasy-inspired forest environment and incorporates Yggdrasil’s DoubleMax GEM technology. The new title combines cascading wins, increasing multipliers and a collection of Prize Pots designed to create additional payout opportunities throughout gameplay.
The sequel builds on the foundation of the first Dublin Up game while adding several new gameplay features. Reflex Gaming said the slot offers a high-volatility experience with a high hit rate and a maximum win potential of up to 10,000 times the player's base stake.
Cascading Wins and Growing Multipliers
A central feature of Dublin Up Pots O’ Gold is its pop-and-drop cascade system. Winning symbols disappear from the reels and new symbols fall into place. During each cascade, one or two Wild symbols are added before the remaining symbols drop.
The DoubleMax mechanic doubles the multiplier after every successful cascade. In the base game, the multiplier resets after a losing result. During Free Spins, however, the multiplier remains active and continues increasing throughout the feature.
Prize Pots and Bonus Features
The title introduces Pots O’ Gold prizes, which pay separately from standard win lines. Pot symbols generate prizes when they appear across three or more consecutive reels connected to the leftmost reel.
Values on the first four reels range from 0.1x to 10x the base stake. Special Prize Pots on the fifth reel award MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MAXI and GRAND prizes worth 5x, 10x, 25x, 100x and 1,000x the base stake respectively. Wild symbols can connect separated Pot symbols to complete qualifying combinations.
Players can trigger Free Spins when Bonus Scatter symbols land or cascade into view. Three or four scatters activate a gamble feature that allows players to collect their awarded spins or risk them for a larger amount. The game also includes the Fairy Modifier, a random feature that removes symbols from the reels and automatically creates a winning cascade.
