Tom Horn Gaming has introduced Royal Ruby FeatureStorm, a new video slot that expands its Hold & Win lineup with a collection-based mechanic designed to build anticipation during gameplay. Scheduled for worldwide release on 14 July 2026, the title blends a traditional fruit-slot theme with feature-driven gameplay that includes multipliers, collectors and jackpot prizes.
The game takes place in an Art Deco-inspired setting filled with sparkling rubies, gold accents and classic casino imagery. According to the developer, the design combines familiar slot elements with a bonus-focused structure aimed at players who prefer high-volatility experiences.
Hold & Win Mechanic Adds Collection Progression
Royal Ruby FeatureStorm runs on a 5x3 reel layout with nine paylines and offers a maximum payout of up to 13,920x the player's stake. Its RTP is 94.98%, while volatility is classified as high.
A collection meter positioned above the reels serves as the central gameplay element during the base game. Ruby symbols landing on the reels gradually fill the meter, giving players visible progress toward unlocking bonus content. Landing exactly three Ruby symbols immediately activates the Hold & Win FeatureStorm, while completing the meter with one or two Ruby symbols may also trigger the feature through one of seven possible bonus combinations.
Once activated, Ruby symbols convert into locked Value Coins on a separate 5x3 bonus grid. Players begin with three respins, and every newly landed symbol resets the counter back to three. The feature concludes when no respins remain or when all 15 positions on the grid have been filled, with a full grid awarding the Grand Jackpot.
During the feature, Collector, Multiplier and Jackpot symbols can appear together. When they do, multipliers first increase the value of all Value Coins before the Collector gathers those boosted amounts. The Multiplier is then applied to the Collector's total, while jackpot values remain unchanged.

Players can also access the feature through two Bonus Buy options. One purchase costs 50 times the total bet and starts the Hold & Win FeatureStorm Bonus Game with up to three special symbols. A premium version priced at 120 times the total bet guarantees that all three special symbols are active from the beginning.
