Gaming Equipment Supplier Live in Quebec
Securing a multi-year agreement with Pixiu in North America last month was a great introduction for Scientific Games Corporation who signed a new partnership with long-term OpenGaming customer Loto-Québec on 3 June, 2021.
This arrangement is based on a full-scale launch of content from AGS, one of the world’s leading publicly traded gaming equipment suppliers. It is also famous for developing slot cabinets and games, as well as proprietary table games and associated equipment.
Debut on Loto-Québec
As an interactive division that provides solutions for online social and iGaming divisions, AGS’ latest portfolio extension, Rakin’ Bacon! will be the first game available with Loto-Québec. It’s a fantasy pig-themed slot featuring a golden pig in a coin-filled room with four jackpots.
While cartoon-like animations may deliver a round of laughter or two while spinning, the inclusion of responsible gaming tools from this provider will certainly ensure player safety and raise the levels of gameplay to new heights.
According to the studio, this integration was made possible thanks to the developer’s OpenGaming System (OGS) – the world’s leading content aggregation platform within the betting and iGaming industry.
OGS has a library with more than 3,000 titles from the industry’s established third-party providers, but it also features a range of in-house releases, famous for their cutting-edge gameplay technology.
“Launching in Canada is the next step for AGS and our aim to bring our content to the widest audience and we are thrilled to have Rakin’ Bacon as the first title to go live with Loto-Québec and we are looking forward to seeing our games resonate with Canadian players,” explains Matt Reback, executive vice president of operations at AGS.
Rakin’ Bacon! from AGS is a 5x3 slot game with 243 ways to play, based on a theoretical RTP of 95.89% and high level variance. Its main features are wilds, complimentary spins, four jackpot, scatters, a bonus level where players must pick objects to score a prize and a mode to choose honorary rounds.
Building an Ecosystem in Canada
At the beginning of June, Scientific Games additionally increased its market share by expanding the ongoing deal with First Look Games, a hub for leading casino affiliates around the world.
Stéphane Martel, acting senior director of products and innovation at Loto-Québec has also expressed her opinion about the latest agreement, stating that the launch underpins the lottery’s long-term relationship with Scientific Games. The senior director is confident about OpenGaming’s ability as a key component in offering a vast array of content to our players and looks forward to signing new deals with the operator in the future.
Marc Crean, commercial director for Canada and LATAM at Scientific Games’s Digital division is pleased to welcome AGS to the Open Gaming ecosystem in Canada and is sure that the studio’s content will be a massive success for Loto-Québec and all Canadian partners.
