
Scientific Games has been selected as the full-line provider for the New Mexico Lottery, securing a 10-year contract that will see the company delivering gaming system technology alongside an expanded instant game partnership.
Comprehensive lottery technology and services
Under this agreement, Scientific Games will supply its Momentum ecosystem, SciTrak instant game system, and Infuse business intelligence platform to enhance lottery operations. Additionally, the deal includes WAVE X point-of-sale terminals and over 1,000 self-service PlayCentral machines, ensuring widespread accessibility for players. The company’s licensed game properties, such as Game of Thrones and Loteria, will also be featured.
Alongside technology, the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) program will now be integrated into the New Mexico Lottery’s Scratchers platform. This program provides portfolio management, game planning, data analytics, logistics, and marketing support. Currently utilized by over 20 lotteries worldwide, SGEP has demonstrated significant performance improvements, increasing instant game sales by 31% for U.S. partners in fiscal year 2023-24.
Strategic partnership and industry expertise
New Mexico Lottery CEO David Barden emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating:
"Following a rigorous competitive procurement process, we are delighted to announce Scientific Games as the New Mexico Lottery's new full-line provider. This strategic partnership will see Scientific Games become our exclusive lottery systems technology partner and expand our existing Scratchers relationship to a full SGEP arrangement. By implementing a single, holistic solution across our entire lottery operations, we aim to optimize performance and generate increased scholarship funding for New Mexico students."
Scientific Games President of Americas & Global Instant Products John Schulz also highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation, saying:
