Scientific Games' SG Digital Group has successfully negotiated the delivery of their online and bingo platform content to Sweden's state-owned operator Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.
SG's products are due to be launched on the newly re-regulated online gambling market of this Scandinavian country, which re-opened on January 1st with a multitude of world-renowned operators now offering their services there.
SG Digital has launched their content with over fifty brand partners in this region and the Svenska Spel alliance only further bolstered the Las Vegas-headquartered company's position.
Meeting New Regulator's Requirements
The company’s Open Platform System and Open Gaming System platforms were rapidly integrated onto the Swedish market on its very first day, now supervised by the newly-instated watchdog, Swedish Gaming Authority (Spelinspektionen)...
...and as of this week, Svenska Spel AB has access to a lion's share of the SG American innovator's portfolio which includes casino titles by the brand's in-house studios and third party developers that are at the forefront of the industry.
Swedish players are promised a “vast, compelling gaming experience” via an “agile and responsible service.”
Being There From Day One
SG Digital's SVP Gaming, Dylan Slaney, remarked that the company is thrilled to be working alongside Spel as together they aspire to reach the next level in this “exciting regulated marketplace.”
“Following a quick and simple integration, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino were ready to go live with one of the most comprehensive casino and bingo offerings available in line with the new regulatory framework being introduced.”
Commenting on the occasion, Managing Director of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, Frederik Wastenson, stated that SG's team has been instrumental in helping launch new casino and bingo sites on the day of the market's re-launch.

New Faces and Growing Trends
SG's hierarchy underwent some substantial changes in late December...
...Jordan Levin, the company's former Senior Vice President for Corporate Development replaced Matt Davey as Chief Executive Officer. A major deal with Paddy Power Betfair followed in January, when two businesses signed a content deal according to which Open Gaming System will be integrated onto sites under the UK titan's umbrella.
Similar to their agreement with SG Digital, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino has penned a content partnership with another industry behemoth, NetEnt. The Swedish supplier launched its best-performing titles with them on the day of Swedish market re-opening.
