SOFTSWISS has expanded the segmentation capabilities within its Casino Platform, introducing additional tools that allow operators to organise players into more detailed groups and react to behavioural changes as they happen.
Announced on 10 June 2026, the update gives operators access to a broader range of segmentation criteria, including deposit activity, betting patterns, loyalty programme information, player tags, payment preferences, sportsbook participation and other data points. By combining multiple filters, operators can build highly specific audiences for retention activities, promotional campaigns and engagement initiatives.
The company stated that player lists update automatically whenever a player's status changes, allowing operators to work with current data rather than relying on manual refreshes or delayed calculations.
Expanded Filtering Supports Targeted Campaigns
The updated functionality enables operators to create player groups based on several conditions simultaneously. These segments can then be applied across different areas of the Casino Platform to support marketing and operational objectives.
Available use cases include bonus campaigns, tournaments, lotteries, referral programmes, payment-related processes and Motion automation workflows. Operators can tailor activities to selected audiences and automatically trigger actions when players meet predefined conditions.
SOFTSWISS developed the segmentor as a standalone service rather than embedding it directly into the platform's core infrastructure. According to the company, this approach helps maintain stable performance during periods of high activity.
Internal data provided by SOFTSWISS indicates that 99.5% of player events reach the system in real time. Once a player qualifies for a segment, connected services can immediately launch relevant actions without requiring additional recalculation processes.
Single Tool Covers Casino and Sportsbook Audiences
The segmentation feature also extends to operators using the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook. Brands can manage casino and sportsbook audiences through the same interface, providing a unified approach to player management across different products.
The company believes the ability to work with multiple audience types from one tool can help operators improve campaign execution while maintaining consistency across their operations.
Suren Vardanyan, Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, comments: “Real-time segmentation is the difference between generic campaigns and personalised experiences. With the segmentor, we build dynamic player groups that automatically adjust to behaviour – so operators can localise messaging and offers for thousands of players simultaneously. This eliminates delays and transforms campaigns from one-size-fits-all to truly targeted.”
JabulaBets Applies Segmentation Across Teams
South African operator JabulaBets has already adopted the feature across several departments, including acquisition, marketing and operations.
The company uses segmentation tools to support promotional targeting and customer analysis. Teams can quickly identify specific player groups, establish qualification requirements for promotional offers and review first-time depositors according to registration dates.
SOFTSWISS said these capabilities help JabulaBets produce KPI reports tailored to particular business objectives and analytical needs.
The latest enhancement forms part of a wider effort to expand engagement and automation tools throughout the SOFTSWISS product ecosystem. Earlier in 2026, the company introduced its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds solution that enables operators to offer wagering on events linked to politics, economics, technology and culture.

This is the kind of technology that's becoming essential rather than optional. Players expect personalised offers and relevant promotions, not generic bonuses sent to everyone. The challenge is making sure all that automation actually improves the player experience instead of just increasing marketing pressure.
