SOFTSWISS received two recognitions at the SiGMA Africa Awards 2026, with the company’s Casino Platform taking the Best Platform title and its Chief Marketing Officer Valentina Bagniya receiving the Woman in iGaming distinction. The awards ceremony took place on 3 March in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Best Platform 2026 award acknowledged the performance of the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform. The product earned the title based on its technical capabilities, including stability and scalability, which play an important role for operators working in regulated markets. These qualities also support the company’s focus on expanding its presence within Africa’s growing iGaming sector.
Platform Recognition Reflects Technical Performance
The Casino Platform recognition highlights the system’s ability to support online casino operations at scale. Reliability and flexibility remain key requirements for operators entering or expanding in regulated environments, particularly in regions where infrastructure and market growth demand stable technical systems.
The award also reflects the company’s efforts to support operators that hold local licences. During 2025, SOFTSWISS expanded its activity in South Africa by launching a major project with Mzansibet. The company also established a partnership with PantherBet. Both operations run on the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform and the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook solution.
These developments formed part of the company’s strategy to build long-term partnerships in the region while delivering technical products designed for operators entering regulated markets.
Individual Award for Valentina Bagniya
The SiGMA Africa Awards also recognised Valentina Bagniya with the Woman in iGaming 2026 title. Bagniya serves as Chief Marketing Officer at SOFTSWISS and has played a key role in shaping the company’s marketing strategy and industry presence.
Her work within the company has focused on strengthening brand visibility and supporting product development through marketing initiatives aimed at global partners and regional operators.
Commenting on the awards, Bagniya said: “The Best Platform title proves that the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform is a powerful, flexible solution. It serves as a benchmark for the excellence and reliability we deliver through each of our standalone products across diverse regulated markets, earning the continued trust of our global partners. I would also like to thank the SiGMA Africa jury for naming me Woman in iGaming. Both these awards celebrate the collective strength and dedication of our entire SOFTSWISS team and reinforce our mission to provide reliable, secure, and full-scale technical solutions for our African partners.”
The recognition also follows several achievements during the previous year. In 2025, Bagniya received the B2B Marketer of the Year title, while her department earned the Marketing Team of the Year award at the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards.
Awards Continue Company Momentum in 2026
The latest honours add to a series of recognitions for the company at the start of 2026. Earlier this year, SOFTSWISS received the Best iGaming Platform Supplier of the Year award at the European iGaming Awards.
Another product from the company, the SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator, also gained recognition during the SiGMA Eurasia 2026 event, where it received the Best Aggregator 2026 award.
