SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Adds Fiat View and Lite Mode

SOFTSWISS has rolled out two additions to its Sportsbook product, introducing a fiat display option for cryptocurrency users and a new Lite Mode for mobile applications. The company said the updates are designed to improve usability for bettors while helping operators serve players in regions where internet connectivity remains unreliable.

Announced on 22 June 2026, the enhancements focus on simplifying the betting experience for cryptocurrency users and improving access to sportsbook services on slower mobile networks. Both features are now available to operators using the platform.

Fiat Display Brings Familiar Value References

The first update allows players who bet with cryptocurrencies to view their balances, wager amounts and potential returns in a selected fiat currency. While the values shown on-screen change, the underlying transactions remain cryptocurrency-based.

SOFTSWISS stated that the feature affects presentation only. Players continue placing bets using digital assets, and operator reporting systems remain unchanged in the back office.

The selected exchange rate appears in the site header and refreshes automatically every 10 minutes. Operators can determine which fiat currencies are offered through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook content management system, giving them flexibility to tailor the feature to their audience.

The company introduced the update to address a common challenge among cryptocurrency bettors. Users often need to calculate the real-world value of a wager before placing it. By displaying balances and betting amounts in familiar fiat denominations, the Sportsbook enables players to understand stake sizes and possible returns more easily.

Mobile Experience Optimised for Weak Connections

The second feature, Lite Mode, targets players who access sportsbooks through unstable or low-speed internet connections. Once activated, the mode reduces visual complexity and limits background processes while preserving essential sportsbook functions.

SOFTSWISS explained that the streamlined version opens key pages more quickly and maintains usability in situations where the standard mobile experience may encounter performance issues.

The company highlighted the relevance of the feature in markets where network quality varies significantly. By reducing the technical demands placed on mobile devices and data connections, Lite Mode helps operators keep players engaged even when connectivity conditions are less than ideal.

The update aims to support user retention and conversion by ensuring that sportsbook services remain accessible during periods of limited bandwidth.
