Back SOFTSWISS Unveils Fixed-Odds Prediction Markets

SOFTSWISS has introduced a new product aimed at expanding wagering options for online casino and sportsbook operators, entering the growing segment of event-based betting with its Prediction Markets solution.

The Malta-based software provider stated that the offering uses a fixed-odds structure, allowing operators to provide wagers on real-world outcomes without adopting peer-to-peer exchange systems. The product targets audiences who engage with global developments rather than traditional sports-focused betting.

New Product Targets Broader Wagering Audiences

The solution enables users to place bets on binary outcomes tied to politics, economic developments, technology, and cultural events. By focusing on these areas, the product moves beyond conventional sportsbook formats and introduces a different engagement model.

Operators can deploy the system as a standalone iFrame widget or through direct integration into the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook. Current partners can complete integration within two to three days, while new clients may require up to three weeks.

The offering arrives as prediction markets gain traction, driven by public interest in elections and major global narratives. Trading volumes in the United States rose from approximately 300 million US dollars in 2024 to an estimated 40 billion to 50 billion US dollars in 2025, while many iGaming operators have yet to enter the segment.

Fixed-Odds Model Simplifies Integration

SOFTSWISS designed its approach to differ from traditional prediction market platforms that depend on liquidity pools and dynamic pricing. Instead, the fixed-odds system allows operators to maintain control over pricing and margins using familiar sportsbook structures.

This structure aligns with existing compliance and risk management processes, reducing the need for major operational changes. The product is already live with selected partners, supporting early adoption.

Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development Officer at SOFTSWISS, said: "We are seeing a growing player segment. Prediction markets are not just an extension of sportsbooks – they introduce entirely new audiences who have never engaged with traditional betting products. The motivation is different: users are driven by their understanding of global events rather than fandom. Combined with the continuous flow of news and public narratives, this creates a more persistent engagement layer. Operators that underestimate this shift risk missing not only demand, but a new generation of players entering the market."

Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of Operations at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, said: "For most operators, the real question is not whether prediction markets are interesting, but how to bring them into an existing stack without rebuilding everything around exchange mechanics. A fixed-odds model makes that much more practical. It gives operators a way to test this demand within familiar risk and compliance frameworks, while also opening the door to audiences that do not necessarily begin with traditional sportsbook behaviour."

Industry Showcase Planned In São Paulo

SOFTSWISS will present the Prediction Markets solution at the upcoming BiS SiGMA South America exhibition in São Paulo, where it plans to demonstrate the product and discuss integration with operators.
