New Jacks or Better Not for the Faint of Heart
Two weeks after rolling out Romans – Legions of Gold, a multi-sided developer from Marbella, Spain and part of the EveryMatrix Group, Spearhead Studios, has introduced its first video poker game – Jacks or Better.
Imagined as a classic game of skill for poker enthusiasts, it offers an opportunity to play up to an incredible 100 hands. The game’s volatility is low and it comes with an RTP of 99.54 percent.
Not for Mortals
As declared by the studio, Jacks or Better is not intended for mere mortals, but true Las Vegas video poker heroes. The reason behind such slogan refers to the game’s nature itself – it offers enthusiasts to play with not just a single hand, but up to 100.
In addition, the latest fast-paced poker title from Spearhead Studios is based on the classic Jacks or Better paytable. It means that any hand with a pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces pays out. Players can also opt to play with 5, 10, 25, 50 or up to 100 hands, capable of summoning winnings up to €400,000 (only for bets of €5 per hand).
After the initial hand has been dealt, players can even choose to hold up to all five cards, while these get replicated on all of the other hands.
Just like all the other titles offered by the supplier, such as Mighty Fruits, Wild Gold or Blue Diamond Book, the poker game Jacks or Better comes with a mobile-portrait optimized gameplay and a seamless user experience for playing on the go. With payouts of up to 800x per hand, this title delivers genuine, Las Vegas video poker fun.
“In aiming to offer players the chance to play with up to 100 hands, you can imagine that we set our designers a tough task, especially for mobile gameplay. As always, they achieved it, and I am delighted to say that the game is completely engaging,” said Kevin Corti, game development director at Spearhead about the new launch.
By releasing Jacks or Better, the Spanish studio, who recently signed a distribution deal with Pariplay, has also upgraded its portfolio of 30+ video slots and table games, which is known for delivering localized content for markets in 13+ jurisdictions.
Among the covered territories are Malta, Spain, Romania, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Colombia, Germany, Belarus, and Croatia, with the US and other territories to follow soon, as promised by the supplier.
