Spinomenal has expanded its Hold & Hit 3x3 portfolio with the launch of Celtic Coins – Hold & Hit 3x3, a new slot inspired by Irish imagery and music. The release continues the developer’s focus on compact grid gameplay built around coin-lock mechanics and bonus-driven features.
The game presents its 3x3 reels on a bright emerald backdrop framed by gold, reflecting themes often linked with Irish folklore and good fortune. A cheerful Irish-style soundtrack accompanies the action, reinforcing the light-hearted atmosphere as players spin the reels.
Gameplay Mechanics and Special Symbols
Within the base game, the Wild symbol appears as a golden Pot of Gold. This icon replaces any regular symbol during a spin but does not substitute for either of the bonus-related symbols that activate the main feature.
Two dedicated bonus icons determine entry into the bonus round. The Bonus symbol can land only on the first and third reels, while the Bonus Collect symbol is limited to the center reel. Every time a Bonus Symbol or Bonus Collect symbol lands during the feature, the spin counter resets to three. This mechanic allows the bonus round to extend if additional symbols continue to appear.
Players who manage to fill every position on the grid during the bonus round reach the maximum payout potential, which is set at x5000 the total bet.
The game also includes an additional mechanic known as the Bonus Blast Feature. This element can activate randomly during the base game and places extra Bonus and Bonus Collect symbols onto the reels, increasing the likelihood of triggering the bonus round.
