Spinomenal Launches Magical Piñata Hold & Hit 3x3

Spinomenal has expanded its slot portfolio with Magical Piñata - Hold & Hit 3x3, a new release built around a Mexican street party setting and a compact 3x3 reel layout. The game places its action in a bright village square filled with confetti, with a piñata carrying coins positioned above the reels.

The title combines its festive setting with Hold & Hit mechanics that center on two special coin symbols. Players can activate a separate Bonus Game through a specific arrangement of these symbols, while additional features can also bring the bonus into play unexpectedly.

A confetti cannon represents the Wild symbol in the base game. It can substitute for all regular symbols, although it does not replace either of the two special Bonus symbols. Fireworks and a sombrero appear among the mid-value symbols, while traditional card royals occupy the lower end of the paytable.

Bonus Coins Set Up the Hold & Hit Feature

Magical Piñata - Hold & Hit 3x3 uses a golden Bonus coin and a rainbow Bonus Collect coin to control its main feature. The golden Bonus symbol can appear exclusively on reels one and three. The Bonus Collect symbol is limited to the middle reel.

The Bonus Game starts when a Bonus Collect appears on reel two while Bonus coins land on both sides. All symbols involved in the triggering combination remain locked in place when the feature begins.

Players then receive three spins. During this stage, only Bonus and Bonus Collect symbols can appear on the grid. Open positions can reveal values of x1, x2, x5, x7, x10 or x15 the bet. A vacant position can also produce one of the available jackpot symbols.

Whenever a new symbol lands, the game resets the remaining spin count to three. This setup allows the feature to continue as long as additional symbols keep appearing before the player records three consecutive empty spins.

Bonus coins interact directly with any Bonus Collect symbols already present. When a Bonus coin lands, each Bonus Collect takes the coin's value and adds it to its own accumulated total. The Bonus coin then disappears from the reels after its value has been collected.

The feature concludes after three blank spins in succession or when the total reaches the game's x5,000 cap.

Four Jackpots Join the Bonus Round

Jackpot symbols may appear randomly during the feature and provide fixed values based on the player's bet. The Grand jackpot awards x1000, while the Major carries a x150 value. The Minor pays x50 and the Mini awards x25.

Spinomenal has also included ways for the special symbols to affect play outside the standard Bonus Game trigger.

Bonus Blast can activate at any time during the base game. When it occurs, the mechanic adds enough Bonus and Bonus Collect coins to the reels to trigger the Bonus Game automatically.

A Bonus Collect symbol can also produce a payout even when the full feature requirements are not satisfied. If the symbol appears alongside Bonus coins or Jackpot coins without completing the required triggering pattern, it collects those values and adds them to the win from that spin.

Players can access the feature directly through the Buy Bonus option rather than waiting for a qualifying combination during regular play. The game also includes Turbo Mode, which reduces the time required for a round to play out.

The new release uses its 3x3 format to keep the bonus mechanic focused on the interaction between the outer-reel Bonus coins and the Bonus Collect symbol in the center. The reset system can extend the feature each time another eligible symbol appears, while the x5,000 ceiling places a defined maximum on the round.

Alongside the primary Hold & Hit feature, Bonus Blast gives the game another route into the bonus. The separate collection mechanic can also award the value of Bonus or Jackpot coins during spins that do not meet the full activation requirements.
