Back Take a Walk Through Mystical Worlds in Playtech’s Kingdoms Rise with Innovative Features

Playtech, which recently teamed up with 1X2 Network, has enhanced its already well-packed portfolio with Kingdoms Rise. The fantasy-themed suite went live network-wide on 24 October with Guardians of the Abyss, Sands of Fury and Forbidden Forest.

The collection brings a unique reward system tailored to boost player engagement with a multitude of innovative features. Besides these actionable options, the releases host a triple portion of Jackpots.

Explore the Unexplored

Fantasy worlds have been among the most commonly used and eternally inspirational topic, and Playtech’s undiscovered territories are comprised of several different lands.

The triplet of games is introduced in the initial phase…

…with one more scheduled later this year. The ground-breaking approach aims to grab players’ interest and create a cost-effective reward structure for operators.

All titles from the franchise give punters the chance to earn in-game tokens, which can be redeemed in the Kingdoms Rise Features Shop to unlock extra content. The series also boasts a configurable, three-tier networked jackpot, with Daily, Capped and Progressive jackpots on offer.

An innovative in-game map feature…

… gives players a unique chance to explore the entire Kingdom, having the option to navigate directly from one game to another. The map also teases further titles to be added, building brand recognition.

The Players’ Choice

When they play their first game from the series, punters are awarded 50 Game Tokens (GTs) and 50 Pending Game Tokens (PGTs). Tokens can be earned further through gameplay- at NO extra cost!

The earned tokens can be used to unlock special features…

…and bonus rounds from the featured shop, with the versatility of options specific to each game in the franchise.

For every two GTs a punter grabs, they are also awarded a PGT, which are then released to punters at the licensee’s discretion, again- at no extra financial bonusing cost. They can be awarded either manually, or automatically based on criteria set in the company’s Engagement Centre.

James Frendo, Casino Director at Playtech, commented on the release as follows:

“Innovation is always at the forefront of Playtech’s games development process and, in Kingdoms Rise, we are proud to be delivering an industry-first concept for players and licensees alike. The suite’s token system gives players the power of choice like never before – they decide what feature to play when to play it and in which game. Some players may want to try a feature as soon as they have enough tokens; others may prefer to build up a balance and play several features at once. The key point is, the choice is theirs.

Demonstrating Value

The innovative approach and system implemented in this game represent a fantastic opportunity to cross-sell from game to game and build player loyalty to the brand. Taking full advantage of the capabilities of our Engagement Centre, the licenses get a ground-breaking cost-effective, content-led alternative to the traditional bonus system.

As Frendo pointed out:

“For players, the chance to “earn” extra in-game features and potentially significantly boost their win potential will be a key point of differentiation. The opportunity to gain more tokens, which can be redeemed in any Kingdoms Rise game, is a clear incentive to try all games in the suite. The success of multi-game brands such as the Age of the Gods clearly demonstrates the value and potential of original content and, with its uniquely enhanced player experience, we’re confident that Kingdoms Rise will have the same strength of appeal”.
