Our tester’s journey through Betsofa casino began on August 5, when he registered in this entertainment venue. To create the account, he was required to enter a couple of basic information. After that, he was prompted a notification to complete a short profile form and activate the account so as to be able to start playing.

Having completed this, a window popped up, showing the tester the available promotions and bonuses. This field contained info related to claimable deals, active/ ended and Stash Points.

Upon checking his inbox, he spotted a welcome mail from the casino, which featured the key details on the registration offer. t’s important to add that the tester didn’t have to verify his e-mail address additionally.

After successful and hassle-free registration, the tester went on to fund the account. As the venue supports cryptocurrencies as well, he wanted to check out how this option work.

On August 5, 2021, the tester accessed the cashier, opted for Cryptopay and then selected Litecoin. The tester entered the amount of EUR 170.00, and a second later a window appeared showing the exact amount in Litecoin- 1.44921236 LTC.

According to the notification, the amount needs to be sent within 10 minutes, as it expires afterward. The tester copied the sum to Coinbase and checked the amount converted to EUR, which displayed EUR 172.12.

After that, the tester copied the address to Coinbase, and upon verifying the transaction, the window displayed EUR 172.05/ LTC 1,44918751, due to a small network fee. Having approved the transaction, he received a notification informing him of the “Invoice Underpaid”.

As stated, there was an outstanding amount of LTC 0.00002485. At the time being, the tester’s LTC Saldo was 0.00934139 LTC/ EUR 1.11, so all he had to do was approved the said amount and complete the transaction.

An e-mail from Coinbase arrived, indicating the tester has sent a total of EUR 172.11, that is 1.44918751 LTC. Eventually, the sum of EUR 172.02 was credited to the tester's real money balance.

KYC Procedure

On August 5, a couple of minutes after making a withdrawal request, the tester received an e-mail from BetSofa regarding the account verification. As far as the instructions indicated, verification is done by submitting the necessary documents in response to the verification request sent by the casino.

The tester sent photos of his ID, a bank statement from his bank, and screenshots of his Coinbase account. Later that day, the venue responded that they do not accept documents with hidden details.

So, the tester sent another document- a cover letter from his bank to verify the address, and the next day on August 6, he received the confirmation email that the verification process of his account was successfully completed.

Regarding the ID verification requirements, Terms state as follows:

“5.1. Know Your Customer is the procedure according to which we reserve the right to request additional documents, which include, but are not limited to: passport or ID; Proof of Address (Passport address page, Utility bill, Bank or Payment institution statement), a selfie with passport or ID; or other documents upon Betsofa Compliance Department discretion. Please note that Driving License cannot be accepted as ID and/or Proof of Address.”

Unless the needed validation docs are provided within 5 days, the account shall be suspended. In some situations, the venue could seek notarized documents or may request a consumer to send those by post.

On top of that, a video conference may be demanded as well, in which case the outcome is provided within 5 days after the conference has taken place. As for the processing time, docs are generally reviewed within 3 days/ 72 hours.

Having funded the account, the tester went on to explore the lobby. Aligned with so many different content providers, the operator has more than a wealthy selection of casino games.

His first choice was Fruit Shop Megaways by NetEnt, after which he decided to explore Book of Darkness by BetSoft. His next choice was 4 Horsemen by Spinomenal and then Fate of Fortune by ELK Studios.

Furthermore, the tester ventured into Big Bad Beast by Golden Rock Studios, during which some glitches appeared. He reloaded the game, and was offered the option to “resume play”, but after a couple of spins, the same thing happened again. The tester repeated the process, only to end up in the same scenario.

On August 5, the tester accessed the cashier, wanting to make a cashout request. He selected the same method as he did to fund the account. The desired amount to withdraw was EUR 50 using LTC.

According to the notification, it may take up to three business days for the request to be processed. The tester checked the cashier and both transactions (deposit and withdrawal request) were visible.

After documents were approved, it took hub 24 hours to process the verification of the tester’s documents, approved the requested transaction, and transfer it to the tester’s balance.

On August 6, a notification from Coinbase with 0,39750026 LTC/ EUR 48,87.

As for the withdrawal policy, this is an important rule to keep in mind:

“7.5. There are only 2 (two) withdrawals of winnings allowed per day without any charge applied by Betsofa. In case you exceed the winnings withdrawals limit, we may apply a 10% fee from the 3 (third) and all next subsequent withdrawals of winnings. Withdrawals of winnings refer to a sequence of any withdrawals requests with no deposits in between.”

In case of low gaming activity, meaning the punter didn’t manage to turn over the deposit amount at least three times (table and live games are excepted):

“7.14. […] Betsofa reserves the right to withhold a fee of 10% from the withdrawal amount in case of low gaming activity.”

Summarizing all the impressions and evidence, we can confirm that no major issues appeared in either of the stages of Betsofa Casino testing. Though the tester was slightly surprised to learn that “photos with hidden details” aren’t acceptable, he resubmitted another document, after which the entire process was finalized by the book.
