Testing Casino Orca: Struggling with 5x Mandatory Wagering and Higher Minimum Limits for Withdrawal

Casino Orca Deposit

A couple of days went by, and then the tester decided to replenish his balance for the first time. He opted to deposit CAD 100/ 0.00095132 BTC on November 6, 2024. A couple of minutes later, CAD 100.11 became visible on the tester’s casino balance. 

Shortly after, confirmation mail arrived. 

Deposit methods include a variety of options such as cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrencies. VISA, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe, MiFinity, Jeton, Interac, Apple Pay, Litecoin, Bitcoin, and Monero are just some of the numerous options players have at their disposal.

A day later, on November 7, the tester tried luck with Buffalo King Untamed Megaways from Pragmatic Play. On November 8, he launched Sweet Bonanza, another work of art by Pragmatic Play. He used extra spins granted by the casino. 

Casino Orca KYC

On November 7, 2024, the tester accessed the “Verify Account” option on his profile to submit documents for KYC. He uploaded the front and back pages of his passport, proof of address, and proof of identity. 

A couple of days went by, and the tester still wasn’t informed of the outcome of the ID verification, so he reached out to the live chat support team on November 12, 2024. The agent responded that the docs were validated. 

No confirmation e-mail regarding ID verification arrived, though. 

As far as the Terms state: 

“11.4 We reserve the right to carry out security reviews for any withdrawals you make and will always carry out identity verification procedures for withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 200,00€ or such other maximum amount as may be set from time to time, and to any withdrawals of funds not used for wagering.” 

Casino Orca Withdrawal 

According to the Terms, the minimum wagering requirement for withdrawal is 5xthe deposit amount, which is significantly above the industry’s average.

“10.6 We reserve the right to apply a wagering requirement of at least 5 (five) times the deposit amount at our sole discretion as per AML policy.”

The tested did manage to meet it but unfortunately failed to reach the minimum amount for Bitcoin withdrawal, which is set at CAD 150. That’s also higher than the average. Withdrawal should always be returned via the same method as the one used to fund the account unless the operator determines otherwise. 

On the other hand, weekly and monthly withdrawal limits are set at EUR 2,500 and EUR 10,000 respectively, which is below the industry’s average. 

“12.4 In case of big winnings the maximum withdrawal of such winning may not be greater than 2.500 EUR, or the equivalent amount in your chosen currency, per week (defined as 7 days) and 10.000 EUR per calendar month excluding Jackpot winnings. […]”

According to the “Payment Methods” page, the minimum amount for withdrawal spans from EUR 30 to EUR 100, depending on the method selected. Processing time ranges between up to 24 hours to up to 2 banking days. Just like with deposits, no fees are charged on the transactions, except network fees applied to crypto transactions. 

“26.6 Our maximum liability to you, if any, is limited to the amount you have deposited into your Account in the previous 6 months less the amount you have withdrawn from your Account in the previous 6 months.” 

Conclusion 

After going through the tester’s insights, we can agree that payment-related rules at Casino Orca could use some significant improvement. Namely, the most problematic things are high mandatory wagering on deposits without a bonus, high minimum cashout limits, and lower maximum cashout limits.
