The tester uploaded an image of his passport and then proceeded to complete something that’s called a “liveness” check. It’s more or less similar to standard photo and video verification, except a player is required to turn their head slowly in a circle following the green indicator.

During the same game, he landed another significant win amounting to EUR 73.85.
The lucky streak continued, as the very same game brought him another fantastic win of EUR 72.65 and a couple of smaller ones.
The fourth notable win amounted to EUR 52.70.
Spellwin Casino Withdrawal and ID Verification
On December 5, 2024, the tester attempted to cash out EUR 394, but he wasn’t able to, due to, as the notification indicated, the requested amount being bigger than the one he was allowed to withdraw.
He reached out to the support department to find out more about this, and he was told that 3x wagering on the deposit amount was still unmet.
Worth adding is that the rule is outlined in the Terms:
“5.6. As a prevention of money laundering, a deposit must be wagered at least three times before a withdrawal can be made. Please note that if wagering requirements are in place, the wagering requirement needs to be respected before a withdrawal is requested.”
The tester therefore returned to the lobby, to attempt to complete the mandatory wagering. He started with the game that brought him the most winnings during this gaming session- Pirots 2.
At one point he refreshed the page because the notification stated that he was “out of bandwidth”, after which it took the site almost 15 minutes to reload. When the connection finally stabilized, he resumed playing the same game, once again landing a win even bigger than the previous ones- EUR 89.60.
Following this he checked out Sobek’s Godly Spins by Play’n GO, collecting a win of EUR 53.30.
3 Hot Chillies by Booongo was the next adventure he immersed into, and quite a grandiose finale, as he ended up gathering EUR 87 during a bonus.
Having completed the mandatory wagering, he requested to withdraw EUR 428 in BTC.
The tester accessed his profile, finding out that it was verified, but the account status was still “Pending”.
On the same day, he received an email that informed him that the ID verification was not successful, requiring him to upload the ID document in which all four corners were visible. He was also informed that the balance requested was returned due to unsuccessful verification.
Four days later, on December 9, 2024, the tester checked out the profile again, spotting the same notification. For that reason, he turned to live chat, and after a couple of minutes, the agent informed him that the verification was completed successfully.
The tester also inquired about the duration of withdrawal processing, to which the tester responded that the processing time depends on the Finance Department’s workload, and may amount to 72 business hours. That, per se, is nothing new, but in this particular case, it comes with a catch- the financial department of Spellwin Casino works only 9 hours a day- weekends and public holidays excluded.
Terms can cause additional confusion on the matter because the processing timeframe is expressed in business days instead of hours, which would be more fitting under circumstances like this one:
“6.6. All withdrawal requests are processed within three (3) banking days, but there are cases where these timing can be longer, depending on payment channels, additional account checks, and public holidays.”
On December 10, 2024, the tester was asked to provide a utility bill no older than 3 months, with his name and address visible, and he did so.
A day later, an e-mail arrived informing him that the verification was finished successfully, letting him know that he could deposit and withdraw without additional verification.
Upon checking the cashier subsequently, the tester noticed that the request dated December 9, 2024, was labeled as “completed”, but that wasn’t correct, as he was previously informed that verification must be completed before a request can be made.
On December 16, 2024, the tester inquired about his withdrawal request, but all he got were some generic responses on technical and financial issues, heavy workload, and so on.
A day later, on December 17, 2024, when he once again inquired about the status of the request, he was told that the administration has the right to make individual schedules for payments, minimum and maximum amounts, and processing time, but was also promised that the request will be executed on December 18, 2024.
Finally, on December 18, 2024, the tester was finally informed that the request was processed.
The tester received USD 449.57/ 0.00431193 BTC.
According to the Terms, a player can have only one active pending withdrawal at the time per payment method. Also, depending on the banking method used, only one cashout request can be submitted per 24 hours.
Withdrawal methods are similar to those that are available for deposits. The minimum cashout limit is EUR 20, or an equivalent sum in other supported currencies. Maximum withdrawal limits are more or less in line with the industry’s average:
“6.11. You may withdraw the following amounts: Per transaction: No more than €500 / NZ$880 / zł2130 / 5900 NOK / C$750 / R$3000 / A$800 / 3700 DKK / 197,500 HUF. However, the rules for jackpot winnings state as follows:
“6.14. If you win more than Euro 20,000 (or the equivalent in your Account currency), we reserve the right to divide the payout into monthly instalments of maximum Euro 20,000 (or the equivalent in your Account currency), until the full amount is paid out. All progressive jackpot wins will be paid in full.”
Conclusion
Even though it is true that each casino has the right to determine rules for pending and processing time, so much waiting shouldn’t be tolerated.
Yes, the terms do state that processing may take up to 72 business hours, which any player would understand as 3 business days, but no, the financial department works 9 hours a day (?!), which could mean that a customer could be left waiting for more than 10 calendar days, if, for example, they place a request on Friday! That would include two weekends and tons of waiting.
Yes, the good thing is that the tester eventually got the money, but was so much waiting and all this confusion really necessary?
Customer support turned out not to be so efficient either, leaving a bad taste in the tester’s mouth. He was left waiting for the response on multiple occasions, which shows that the casino’s promise that they are here for players “24/7, rain or shine” is nothing more but a bunch of empty words.
