Back Time Slows Down at Juicy Stakes as Minimum Bitcoin Withdrawal of $100 Takes 5 Days to Complete

What Time is Optimal for a Bitcoin Withdrawal?

Last December, one of our testers paid their first official visit to a famous US-oriented casino and poker site that specializes in tournaments, Juicy Stakes.

Established in 2013, the brand still stands the test of time on the Horizon Poker Network, one of the largest groups of gaming sites in the United States.

Now, you might think that five days may be too much for a simple cashout but before you jump to conclusions, let’s stick to the facts as we put another great online casino to the test.

To give us unbiased results of testing, our player Cactus12 went through the same procedure, just like in every other audit within the “From the Players, for the Players” project.

Let’s find out what signing up, depositing, playing, verifying, and withdrawing looks like on this platform and discover if Juicy Stakes deserves a higher rating than 2.2/5 on LCB.

First, a quick summary of each phase:

  • Tester of the casino: Cactus12
  • Date of registering: WED, November 30th, 2022
  • Deposit: $200.00 / 0.011838 BTC via Coinbase on WED, November 30th, 2022
  • KYC: Proof of address and selfie with photo ID sent on WED, November 30th, 2022
  • Withdrawal: Requested $100 via Coinbase on WED, November 30th, 2022, received $100 / 0.00585377 BTC on MON, December 5th, 2022

Hint: The entire test took less than one day but only if we exclude the withdrawal. There is a specific rule on this site stating that the withdrawal process will begin 48 hours (two business days) once the request has been received.

On top of that, all withdrawals are processed between Monday and Friday.

This little “setback” has undoubtedly affected our tester’s experience because the withdrawal was requested on Wednesday, expanding the entire procedure for two days. Still, there are some other things to consider, so let us begin by describing each phase, step by step.

Registration

The test kickstarted on Wednesday, November 30th when our player signed up with Juicy Stakes Casino by filling out the usual online form after hitting Join Now onsite. There is only one step where customers must complete the fields before being able to make a deposit.

To confirm a successful registration, our player logged in and went straight to the cashier. But that’s a whole different chapter. Moving on.

Depositing

Since Juicy Stakes accepts payments in Bitcoin, our tester, Cactus12, decided to top up their new account by selecting the fastest option. After typing in $200 in the deposit amount box and confirming, the site started to process that request.

This also took place on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, right after registering.

As Bitcoin transactions are encrypted, our tester was asked to complete the payment by transferring their deposit amount to an address on blockchain.

In less than a minute, the transaction was completed via Coinbase, our player’s cryptocurrency exchange platform of choice. You can learn more about other Bitcoin Wallets by reading our comprehensive guide on LCB later after reading this entire test.

By the way, at Juicy Stakes, the minimum deposit required is $25 unless otherwise stated. The maximum, however, is $2500, as indicated in the cashier.

Verification

After making the deposit via Coinbase, Juicy Stakes requested identity verification. It was successfully completed on the same day and the funds sent to the account were approved almost instantly.

IMPORTANT: The verification process required a valid proof of address and a selfie with photo ID.

Gameplay

There are only three software providers available on the platform: Betsoft, WorldMatch, and Nucleus Gaming.

Our tester began their gaming session with Take the Bank, a 2019 hit from Betsoft. After a loss of approximately $45, it was time for a change, so our player switched to Faerie Spells.

The game was quite “cooperative” as our tester made numerous wins and even managed to return some money by up to $177.27.

Next on the list was Dragon Watch by Nucleus Gaming, but after playing it for a couple of minutes, it was clear that most of the spins are simply “dead”.

Even playing Primal Hunt for a couple of minutes wasn’t very successful, so Cactus12 made a call to try their luck once again with Faerie Spells – the only slot that paid back some money.

Unfortunately, once the balance hit $100.42, it was suddenly time to pull out the remaining funds from the account.

Withdrawal

There are two drawbacks to take into consideration when making a withdrawal at Juicy Stakes. It takes two days for the process to begin and the minimum cashout amount is $100 for Bitcoin.

Our tester started the withdrawal process on the same day as registering and playing, November 30th. The remaining balance (around $100) was requested from the cashier with just a few clicks, and the casino confirmed a successful transaction.

Nonetheless, since the payout took place on Wednesday, and all withdrawals are processed between Monday and Friday, our player only received their money on December 5th or the first day of the working week.

That makes it exactly five days for a simple Bitcoin transaction!

Out of comparison, these payments take not more than 15 minutes on other sites, so maybe shortening this period at some point would help players improve their experience on the platform.

Moreover, in case of winning bigger amounts of money at Juicy Stakes, you should be aware of very low withdrawal caps onsite - $2,500 (Bitcoin) and $2,560 (Bank Transfer) weekly.

On top of that, the processing time on bank transfer is 15 business days… a huge setback not only for serious players but novice as well.

Conclusion

This test was completed in a day, but our player and tester, Cactus12, had to wait five days for a $100 withdrawal over at Juicy Stakes due to its strict cashout policies.

It seems like a lot for a brand that only has three software providers and poker rooms to offer, but its presence on the market since 2013 tells a different story.
