Back Wazdan Expands Ontario Presence and Eyes Latin America

Wazdan has advanced its partnership with Green Brick Labs by launching several of its games with Ontario-based operator Maverick Games. The rollout marks the first stage of the collaboration and expands the developer’s presence within one of North America’s regulated online gaming markets.

The launch follows Wazdan’s previously announced agreement with Green Brick Labs (GBL), a platform provider offering aggregation technology for operators. Through the GBL integration, Maverick Games has begun offering a group of titles from the developer’s slot catalogue to players in Ontario.

The initial release includes several established games from the studio. Mighty Fish™: Blue Marlin, 36 Coins™, Mighty Wild™: Panther Grand Diamond Edition, and Mighty Wild™: Gorilla are among the titles now live through the operator.

Ontario Launch Through Maverick Games

The rollout combines Wazdan’s slot content with Maverick Games’ platform, which includes both a casino offering and sportsbook. By delivering its games through GBL’s aggregation system, the developer aims to expand its distribution within the province.

The integration also introduces several of Wazdan’s gameplay mechanics to the operator’s audience. These include Cash to Infinity™, Sticky to Infinity™, and the Hold the Jackpot™ bonus game, which form part of the studio’s player engagement features.

Focus on Latin American Growth

While the Ontario rollout progresses, Wazdan has also outlined expansion plans in Latin America during SBC Summit Rio 2026. The company used its presence at the event to present its regional strategy and highlight the role Brazil is expected to play within its long-term plans.

At the summit, the studio introduced visitors to a range of titles designed to appeal to local audiences. Among the featured games was Bumba Meu Boi Coin™, which draws inspiration from Brazilian folklore. Other titles shown included Fisherman’s Luck™ and Mighty Wild™: Gorilla.

The display formed part of Wazdan’s efforts to demonstrate how it combines culturally themed games with mathematical models built for regulated markets. Attendees at Stand A110 also had the opportunity to explore the developer’s promotional tools and engagement-focused mechanics.

The event in Rio formed part of a broader plan aimed at strengthening the studio’s presence across Latin America. Through ongoing investment and partnerships, Wazdan has indicated that Brazil and neighbouring regulated markets will remain key areas of focus in the coming years.
