Back Wicked Games Gains Swedish Licence, Expands Reach

Wicked Games has added Sweden to its list of regulated markets after receiving a B2B gaming licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority. The approval allows the studio to provide its gaming content to licensed operators in the country, marking another stage in its international expansion.

The Swedish market is widely regarded as a mature and closely supervised jurisdiction. By gaining entry, Wicked Games aligns its operations with a regulatory framework known for strict requirements around compliance and technical performance. The licence enables the company to work directly with operators active in Sweden, extending its reach within the region.

“Securing our Swedish licence is a strong validation of the compliance standards and technical readiness behind our business,” said Khadija El Abi, Head of Partnerships at Wicked Games. “Sweden is an important market for us, and this approval allows us to support licensed operators there with content built to stand out in competitive lobbies.”

Expansion Strategy Across Regulated Markets

The Swedish approval forms part of a wider plan to increase the company’s footprint in regulated jurisdictions. Wicked Games has focused on aligning its content and systems with market-specific requirements, aiming to make its titles accessible through established operator networks.

Its portfolio emphasizes distinctive visual design and gameplay formats intended to attract attention within casino lobbies. The company has stated that its approach centers on delivering entertainment value while meeting the technical standards required by licensed environments.

This latest development follows distribution agreements that have expanded the studio’s global presence. By combining regulatory approvals with platform integrations, Wicked Games continues to position its content across both established and emerging markets.

Partnerships Extend Global Distribution

Recent collaborations have played a central role in the company’s growth. Wicked Games joined the Powered By Relax platform, operated by Relax Gaming, allowing its full catalog to become available through a single integration. Titles such as Transformers, Jack, and Fawkes are now accessible to operators connected to the network, along with upcoming releases.

The integration also ensures compatibility with engagement features, including Free Spins, jackpots, and configurable bonus tools. Operators can access these capabilities through one API, simplifying the process of adding the studio’s content across multiple jurisdictions.

Wicked Games has also expanded into emerging markets through a partnership with QTech Games. The deal makes its portfolio of high-volatility slot titles available across regions including Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Going live with QTech Games represents a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy. QTech Games’ extensive reach in emerging markets and its robust distribution network provide access to high-growth regions where distinctive content tends to perform well.

Additionally, Philip Doftvik, CEO of QTech Games, said that they were pleased to introduce Wicked’s portfolio of bold, innovative, and at times ironic games, which challenge conventional norms in a playful way, through QTech’s leading aggregation platform for emerging markets.

Through these agreements and its latest regulatory approval, Wicked Games continues to broaden its distribution channels while strengthening its position in both established and developing gaming markets.
