Up-and-Comer Studio Rolls out Third Title Under the GATI Program

The leading worldwide publisher of online gambling content, Yggdrasil, is back with its third release for the month of January, called Steam Spin. The game was developed in partnership Jade Rabbit and it is an invite to board an express train to decent wins!

Playing out in a 3×3 configuration, including nine paylines, the studio’s latest project is also packed with classic fruit symbols, golden wilds, wild multipliers and scatters that can easily enhance any spin.

Charging Modes and Red Hot Bonuses

Unlike some earlier releases this month, such as Money Mariachi Infinity Reels, for example, the studio’s latest online slot comes with wild multipliers that can add anything from 1x to 10x on any winning line.

These special symbols are key to triggering the respin feature, so whenever a wild lands on the reels, it is locked in place and nudged down one position to award a respin. The process continues until the wild disappears from view!

Interestingly, wilds are used during the SteamSpin modes too; a row above the main reel is initially locked here, and if a wild lands on that reel, the corresponding slot is unlocked. Once all three are open, players progress to the SteamSpin Charging mode.

As the feature continues, multiplier wilds that land will transfer their value to the top reel and if any of the meters reaches the factor of 10x, the SteamSpin Bonus is activated. It is just a single spin played in the SteamSpin reel, but it carries multiplied wins by the total accumulated multipliers in the SteamSpin Charging mode.

If by any chance you manage to hit three golden train scatters, Steam Spin will enter the Red Hot SteamSpin Bonus. This is a single spin in the SteamSpin area, where wins can be multiplied by a fixed value of 33x.
