One of the most beloved names in the gaming industry is about to get some more love from keen players around the world. Yggdrasil, mighty developer of slot games is expanding to new territories, launching a collection of table games!
That's right; the brand is about to begin producing such titles and they even plan on revolutionizing this entire gaming sector: first by launching high-tech versions of Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat with an immersive virtual 3D environment in which interaction with a digital dealer will feel incredibly realistic.
As we speak, the developer is hard at work on several multiplayer table games utilizing its in-house technology, REDUX, providing the end-product with side bets and dealer-unique capabilities. Blackjack is set to be the first in line for release, with the first demonstration lined-up for February 6-8 at London's ICE Totally Gaming.
REDUX is combining the aspects of live and Random Number Generator casinos, creating a stunning virtual experience with the help of motion capture technology. Using this technology, high-quality and ultra-realistic dealer characters are being deployed. They will have such unique features, as facial expressions and hand movements that they will use to interact with players. In addition to all that, casino operators will be presented with an opportunity to customize the games according to their own visual identity.
Yggdrasil's CPO Krzysztof Opalka stated that company's table games will break new ground, adding: “The table games vertical has been fairly static in recent years. But our product’s combination of social interaction and high-end playability is unlike any other currently on the market. It won’t just be a single player trying to beat the house, but instead thousands of real players from all over the world, who are all able to join the game simultaneously with the aim of hitting big hands and bigger wins.”
Opalka continues: “We have a packed roadmap of innovative new games and features. Our aim is to innovate table games in a similar fashion to slots, where a constant product cycle of new variations built on familiar mechanics drives growth.”
InterCasino https://lcb.org/casinos/inter and Vera&John (both part of Jackpotjoy group) will be the first online casinos to go live with the brand’s newest addition of games. Jackpotjoy's Head of Gaming, Victor Olinger, commented: “Yggdrasil is a well-known name across the industry that has become a byword for innovation in the slots sector. It is fantastic news to hear they are turning their attention to table games. It is a major coup to be the first operator to go live with Yggdrasil’s table games, and we look forward to bringing this exciting new product to our full customer base this year.”
This seems like one interesting breakthrough for Yggdrasil and online casino gaming in general. Are you looking forward to trying out their table games? Let us know in the comments below...

And as I just played in the practice mode, it is good and different from other table software. When a player's card is busted, the dealer show its card, wow. It is pretty good. The hand movement is Ok, too.

This sounds very promising.. As there are not many Table Games with decent graphics. And the sound for most table games are just annoying. Having said that, the only thing that really matters to me is the Random Number Generator system used to deal cards. There are a lot of questionable systems out there and I only...
This sounds very promising.. As there are not many Table Games with decent graphics. And the sound for most table games are just annoying. Having said that, the only thing that really matters to me is the Random Number Generator system used to deal cards. There are a lot of questionable systems out there and I only play when it is provably fair.
