  • I have been very forthcoming about my love for Crypto-Currency Gaming. It has brought my dream to fruition! I have always wanted to gamble at my leisure, at home with instant payments! For too many years, my gambling consisted of depositing via credit card, playing, sometimes winning, but nearly EVERY TIME I won, I either reversed the withdraw because of the long wait or the hassle was so outrageous that  often times I never bothered with a withdraw. Those dark days were a pathetic substitute for gambling. There is no way any of us would tolerate not receiving any return from our local brick/mortar casino. Thanks to CRYPTO-GAMING US players can finally have our money instantly!

I am celebrating my 1st year anniversary of taking the Bitcoin plunge! The milestone combined with LCB's new Bitcoin section and the site's massive make-over, have brought on a perfect storm of excitement and a clean slate. There are so many areas on LCB that you can find me giving specific details on how to acquire and utilize your first bitcoin. I will be collecting those posts and bringing them over here so you can find it all in one place. As overwhelming and intimidating as the science of blockchain/bitcoin can be, I want to make sure I make it as comprehensive as possible.

I will start by telling you a little about where I have been playing and successfully cashing out. .

  • definitely a good thing about bitcoin is that USA players can use it as an alternative payment method ( knowing how limitted your options are ), and perhaps it will becaome the number 1 solution soon.

  • I spent nearly all of my Summer gambling time/money at Betcoin. Betcoin is an all inclusive gambling destination. It is unlike any other gambling venue I have seen before. If you are a slot player, there are several software providers including Game Art, which are some of the most entertaining/popular on the net. If you prefer Sports betting, Betcoin has you covered with a full service sportsbook. The casino offers the usual card games, as well as live casino games like roulette, blackjack, sicbo, and keno. So far everything I have mentioned is standard for most of the top gambling sites.

The two stars of Betcoin are the Poker Room and Community Forum. The Poker Room is available on the web/download/mobile. There are dozens of WPN tournaments listed along with the Betcoin exclusive freerolls, mtts and the amazing Tourney events/series that run from time to time. For instance, there is an OSS/MOSS Series listed right now along with a Million Dollar Tourney that has satellites running already. If you prefer cash games in the ring, or headsup, Betcoin has you covered there, too, with games starting at .01/.02 all the way up through high stakes. Omaha tables are less popular but they are always running as well.

One of the most entertaining aspects of Betcoin for me has been the community forum and the live chat. There is always a colorful group of characters exchanging ideas in the chat box. There are beggars and thieves intertwined with the common players like you and I, so you have to be on your toes. There is a constant exchange of chips taking place from within the chat box as well. Players are constantly staking one another and looking for their next backer. I have staked a few players and had some success that I don't think would have been possible if I played myself. :)

Every day there is a popular Betcoin Exclusive Daily Coin tournament with a 1 btc pot. This is truly Betcoin's shining star. There is a 47.50 mbtc entry fee, but there are daily freerolls and step satellites leading up to the main event. Playing the steps, or winning the freerolls will offer players a chance to win a ticket into the Daily, any day the choose to enter. This opportunity is available to everyone, whether you have any money or not. I think that is reason enough alone to open an account and try your luck on the freerolls. You may be the next Betcoin player that goes from ZERO TO HERO.

I know this sounds like an advertisement for Betcoin, but it is not. I have not gotten over the Betsoft Jason Ort debacle that I wrote about last month. I simply will not play any Betsoft games and I still stick a thorn in the side of management any chance I get to remind them I haven't forgotten. Jason took the deal and that put any argument to rest, so there is no reason to beat a dead horse.

There are Table Starter Bonuses/Rake Back/Loss Back/Bet Back features that I know nothing about but yes, I have received funds labeled under one of these titles. :) (poker newbie)

Last thing before I go, everyone knows I am all about crypto gaming for US players. It seriously changed everything for me. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the experience is when I win at a casino now! DO YOU KNOW WHY??? Think about your favorite aspect of the brick/mortar casinos.... I am sure the cashier/instant withdraw/money in pocket is one of the main draws, right? WELL, GUESS WHAT BITCOIN LET'S YOU HAVE YOUR MONEY RIGHT NOW FROM YOUR HOME COMPUTER! IT IS AMAZEBALLS!

I have deposited/withdrawn with Betcoin several times all of them in less then an hour or two. :) I am not here asking you to sign up on my affiliate account... that's not my goal. I just want you all to know there is a place that some of you might find as enjoyable as I do, not to mention the ability to come play for free and cash out a couple hundred dollars in a matter of hours. :) IT IS POSSIBLE I HAVE WITNESSED IT! :) Good Luck!

  • Agree with what  you are saying Jenna. I used to have the same issues with winning on casinos in the past and reversing and losing it all back. Never again does that happen with bitcoin. I play mostly at casinos I know to have Instant withdrawls.

This summer I've been on a real hot streak online. Even the most trusted fiat casinos onine that Americans can play cant compared to how fast I can have cash in hand. Yesterday for example I started with 75mbtc and over the course of the day cashing out I ended up with 1.75btc I sent the coins to localbitcoins and found a buyer for cash deposit and within a few minutes I had the winnings in my bank. I used to use Coinbase for cashouts but I've had far to many issues with them lately and their support is horrible so I try to avoid them. I still make some Instant buys with them with my debit card but be warned they have twice now duplicate charged my bank weeks later for the same transactoins. Support there is a joke.

I'm glad that you enjoy betcoin.ag but the JasonOrt scandal has left a bad taste in my mouth. Betcoin and Betsoft royally screwed him over on his jackpot win.

I never had any issues with payments from Betcoin until one day I opened up my surprise box and received a couple casino chips to use on a chosen slot. I made wagering and had around 75 mbtc to cash out. I submitted the request checked back a few hours later and it was canceled. Went to live support and they said to withdrawl again so I did. Same thing got canceled and live support assured me I was well within the terms and should have been approved. I got fed up lost the chips back in the casino and haven't been to their site since. Also they are connected with the WPN network.

I used to enjoy playing  poker on WPN at BlackChip and when they started accepting bitcoins that was awesome as I used to have to deposit via Western Union or MoneyGram. Also they then did withdrawls in bitcoin.

All was fine the first few withdrawls. Then one day I deposited $25 in bitcoin and played only the casino games no poker. I had great luck on blackjack and balance was at $200. I submitted a withdrawl the next day for bitcoin and was canceled. Their reasoning was now a new rule was in place that no player could make with a withdrawl until at least 72 hours after a deposit. I explained this was irrational and I had only played the casino games. Got nowhere and eventually lost it back.

So I came to the conclusion that WPN is scummy and any site using their network probably was to.

It's a shame they gotta act so shady because I really enjoyed the poker there and often would play the casino as well. I just play at sites I feel comfortable with that I know I won't get jerked around at.

So for me its Bitcasino.io for casino games and Bovada for poker. However now Bovada is closing down its poker operations and players have to switch their poker accounts to Ignition.eu

I look forward to more of your bitcoin reviews Jenna. Thanks for taking the time to put these together for new people who might not be informed.

  • Wow Jenna, I said you should put all of your previous "Bitcoin  posts" over here in the Bitcoin topic because they were so useful to me and I see that you are doing exactly that.   I agree with you that Bitcoin changes everything for the US player and although it seems so complicated and a little intimidating in the beginning, it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

I'm just getting started with Bitcoin and I'm really excited about the prospects ahead.

Just wanted to say something about my first withdrawal in Bitcoin at Intertops.  It was great!  Although it wasn't instant, it only took one day and the best part was that it was free ......

I am looking forward to the weeks ahead using this new currency and taking advantage of all the perks that come with it.

  • Is bitcoin still a good option for USA woo

  • @ Oh Rena, it's the best!!!

  • I do not want to include my bank in this little hobby of mine and I see that you feel the same.  This is better than ukash.  No transfer fees on withdrawal, sell your bitcoin and get paid in your Paypal account.  Maybe even leave some bitcoin in your account  to deposit at another casino..........

In my case, I transfer from PayPal to my prepaid MasterCard and I don't have to leave the house.

I do have to thank cheetahwind and jenna for all their help and posts. Their exeriences and guidance made it so easy for me.

  • I set up a circle account, i did pay threw my pp. Do you use circle also? If you do, is it a good option?

  •

Hi rena, I am probably not the person to be giving advice about Bitcoin.

It is still very new to me.  I don't have a circle account.

I use Blockchain, but you don't have to.

I like them because they don't wanna get in your business.  They could care less who I'm sending my bitcoin to or who is sending it to me.   They don't wanna know.

  • Circle or Coinbase are both very good options as there are very small fees for getting your coin.

Compared to LocalBitCoin or Paxful where the fees can get downright steep.  Circle will do you just fine as long as you don't buy too frequently or try to cash out large sums of coins at once.

Otherwise if things do get scary with Circle, you can always change it up and use both Coinbase and circle interchangably.

  • Circle and/or coinbase are definitely great options, just make sure you don't send your bitcoin directly from either exchange directly to a gambling deposit address or you risk getting your account closed.  Circle/Coinbase ---> Your personal wallet or non gambling address ---->Bitcoin Casino (same for the other way around)

There are decent deals on Localbitcoins and Paxful if you have the time and energy to hunt them down and also make sure you don't get scammed.

Just when i thought i knew how this works lol. So the address the casino gives you to send the bitcoins you dont use? So how do you fund the account?

  • Hey rena, I use LBC to buy and sell bitcoin.

Then I transfer my bitcoin to my account at blockchain.

I use blockchain to fund my casino accounts, but sometimes I deposit directly from my LBC account.   Just don't wanna use the same one all the time.....................

    Hi Jade,

What's LBC ( want you say LCB) ?? How do you use LBC to buy and sell bitcoin ??

  • Does anyone use their pre paid visa or MC to fund their bit coin account?

  • If your talking about Circle, then that's a no go.  They only allow bank issued debit cards.

Otherwise there are people in Local Bit Coins or Paxful that will take your prepaid card in exchange for BTC.

I know of a few exchanges that will take a prepaid card.  Yet honestly I would be careful on whom you use.

Cheetahwind you and everyone have been such  big help, thank you. I hope you do continue to update the thread you started about bit coins.

    • Hi aymenpronet, no, I ment LBC, (Local Bitcoin / localbitcoin.com)
    • Thats what it's for, to buy and sell bitcoin ..............................

  • I think she means LocalBitCoin (LBC). Jade says she uses them and cheetawind says their fees are high.  I have read all the information on buying/selling and playing in a casino with bitcoin.  BUT I am still confused.  I appreciate all the information members have given.  If I could trouble someone, could you do a step-by-step, numbering each step in the order it should be done?  Starting as someone new who wants to use bitcoin?  You know, something like a recipe.  haha.

It would really be helpful for me.  As numerous members have stated, it is not that hard, but just a little overwhelming in the beginning.  I am sure that is true.  Like with anything else in life, you gotta just do it and use it.

    Thanks in advance!!

  • To be fair LocalBitCoins or Paxful can get you some nice deals if you wish to trade in cash or in gift cards that paid for in cash.  Like the most the mark up with be is 15% at max.  That's probably trading with an Amazon Gift Card paid for with cash.

I guess let me ask you a few questions and I can help you out.

If you don't mind giving your bank details to Coinbase or Circle.  That would be the easiest way for me to help you out. Mainly because it's a striaght forward process.

Otherwise Local Bit Coins and Paxful are good routes too.  Just a matter if you want to deposit cash into someone's account, send them a cash wire, or buy a gift card for BTC.

Let me know what method works for you and I'll gladly step in and help you out.

  • Hi medtrans,

I learned everything I needed to know about Bitcoin by reading posts by cheetahwind  and  JennaROX.  You're in good hands.  Good luck taking the plunge, you won't regret it.

  • Until now I didn't use any virtual money as bit coins are. I don't trust really in that.

  • I actually have used my paypal master card to deposit to circle. Is that a no to do?

Haven't gotten to the withdraw part so I am just trying to learn about the depositing part for now. Hopefully soon i will be able to withdraw tongue

  • Last I knew support told me at Circle, they won't allow prepaid cards.  Well ever since I dumped Wells Fargo and went to an online bank.  That's all I use, don't use the traditional banking system.

Yet who knows, that was like a year ago.  Maybe there stance changed.

If I find out anything else about it, I'll let you know.

Thanks Cheetahwind.  I would probably only use bitcoin for depositing/withdrawing to/from a casino.  And I would use my bank debit card to deposit.  If I use my debit card my bank will only know that it is being used to buy bitcoins correct?  (Do you know if a credit card would be allowed to buy bitcoins?)

I appreciate your help and look forward to your step-by-step.
