    Hi,

    My Bitcoinwallet balance is 0.00056068 BTC. I wanted to make a transaction to send 0.0005 BTC to my casino account but I received this message:

    Please enter a value greater than or equal to 0.00005460.

    Yet my balance is 0.00056068

    Anyone can find out why?

    I have requested help from Bitcoinwallet support but have not received a response yet.

    That's strange, could you please tell me which bitcoin wallet you are referring to?

    Sometimes the currency chosen can make this type of message. If your wallet account has a local currency or other currency of your choice, you should choose BTC as a preferred currency and then try to send the funds.

    Hi Malwen

    Honestly this is due to the minimum sending amount plus the sending fees, so if you were to send 0.0005460 as the minimum if you add fees which is like $12 - $18 depending on the bitcoin wallet, it would exceed your balance.

    Before Bitcoin went this sky high and was around $15 000 a BTC still, I could send bitcoin amounts as low as $20 to someone and the fees was like $2/3.

    Now in order to send BTC to any casino or person is around 0.0005/6 or even when I withdraw, the minimum withdraw amount is now $60, where before I could withdraw around $25 to my bank account before.

    So I personally think it is the minimum amount set to be send + fees, which if you add the fees it will exceed 0.00056068 which is your available amount - But I could be wrong, however the only thing that makes sense, as the minimum these days any casinos accept is 0.0005 these days as well otherwise BTC is lost.
