HI LCB'ers.
Our tester took on a task to investigate Malta-licensed Betstro Casino. Was the whole process without any hiccups? Let's see the results, and here are the highlights:
- Tester of the day: Punakontti
- Registration completed on January 1, 2025.
- Deposit of 200€ via Skrill made on January 1, 2025.
- KYC via website initially attempted on January 1, 2025, but wasn’t completed due to an error; a second attempt to send docs via mail took place a day later, but also without success, after which the tester provided docs via mobile, also on January 2, 2025;
- Identity verified on January 3, 2025.
- Withdrawal of 50€ via Skrill requested on January 3, 2025.
- The tester received 50€ via Skrill on January 6, 2025.
While ID verification is not something players are normally thrilled with, it is a step that cannot be skipped, at least in the vast majority of online casinos. The KYC process at Betstro Casino is quite simple, yet something prevented our tester from completing it the first time he attempted it.
Keep watching our video review of Betstro Casino to find out how he overcame this issue and eventually successfully cashed out 50€ via Skrill!
Registration
On January 1, 2025, the tester typed in the necessary data in the simple form to become a member of Betstro Casino. After accepting the Terms & Conditions, and finishing the verification via link, the tester was officially welcomed to this non-US friendly gambling platform.
Deposit
As soon as the registration was finished the tester went on to deposit EUR 200 via Skrill. He opted to claim no bonuses. The amount reflected on his casino balance in less than a minute.
Available deposit methods include Brite, Skrill, VISA, Mastercard, Paysafecard, MiFinity, Neteller, Neosurf, Cashlib, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Jeton, and Bank Transfer. According to the payments page, the minimum to deposit is EUR 25, and the maximum depends on the method selected.
Gameplay & KYC
After quick and simple registration and deposit the tester decided to check out some games. His initial choice was Ice Wolf, followed by Ecuador Gold, Book of Shadows Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild, and Dead or Alive.
Following these, the tester wanted to complete the KYC. When attempting to upload his driver's license pictures, utility bill, and Skrill screenshot via the website, a “Failed to fetch” error appeared.
A day later, he played Double Stacks, Starburst XXXtreme, Tahiti Gold, Black River Gold, Tropicool, and Respin Circus.
After playing these games, the tester contacted the live chat support team to inquire about the error, and he was advised to disable extensions and plug-ins, or alternatively, if that doesn’t work, log in via incognito mode and/ or restart the router. In case the suggested fixes resolved the issue, the agent told him to return to chat for follow-up instructions.
He tried all of these, but since none resulted in success, the chat agent advised him to send the documents via mail and provide a screenshot of the issue.
He continued playing more games, namely Dead or Alive, El Paso Gunfight xNudge, xWays Hoarder xSplit, Voodoo Gold, and Vikings Go to Hell. The tester also launched Stockholm Syndrome, San Quentin xWays, Lucky Angler: A Snowy Catch, Flowers Christmas Edition, Secrets of Christmas, Twin Spin Megaways, and Secrets of Atlantis.
Approximately two hours after sending the documents via mail, the response arrived, letting the tester know that the casino couldn’t identify any issue that would prevent the tester from uploading the documents via the dedicated page. He was also informed that Betstro Casino doesn’t accept documents via mail, and was, at the same time, given instructions on how to complete ID verification.
The tester re-attempted uploading the documents via the website, but as that didn’t work, he came up with the idea to complete the process via mobile phone. The confirmation mail on successful verification arrived on January 3, 2025, with some documents being approved on January 2, and some on January 3.
According to the Terms, verification is mandatory before the first payment is made (Terms 62.1) and in case the withdrawal amount exceeds EUR 2,300, but can be demanded with lower sums as well. (Terms 63.1)
Withdrawal
With his profile verified the tester could now submit a cashout request to withdraw EUR 50 via Skrill. He placed the request on January 3, 2025, and the money arrived three days later, on January 6.
Withdrawal methods include Bank Transfer, Brite, Jetonbank, MiFinity, Neteller, and Skrill. The minimum depends on the method selected, ranging from EUR 25 to EUR 100. Withdrawals are usually returned to the same method as the one used to make a deposit.
The maximum cashout limit is EUR 7,000, but players with higher loyalty status can be entitled to cash out larger sums. Winnings over EUR 30,000 will be divided into monthly installments. (Terms 63.1) Deposits need to be wagered at least 3 times before a customer can request a withdrawal. (Terms 63.2)
Payment processing is usually completed within 72 hours starting from the moment that the request has been approved by the Payments Department. (Terms 62.1)
Conclusion
Despite the issues experienced during the KYC, overall, there were no major problems to spoil the tester’s positive impressions. On another note, things such as lower monthly withdrawal limits and higher mandatory wagering on deposits are things that could use some significant improvement.
