Documentation Required for Withdrawals

Hi all, I have £200 fully wagered in a casino (silver sands (I think)) and they are asking for all this documentation to see that I am who I say I am, now I understand that they need proof to stop people from creating multiple accounts, abusing bonuses, etc. But they are asking me to send a picture of my passport and 2 bills with pictures of me and of my address to an email address, I could be sending it to anyone, this is like enough information to steal someones Identity. has anyone else been nervy about sending this info in an email address,?

Every casino is asking for this documents for verifying your account before you can be able to withdraw. I've verified my account on more than 10 casinos online, and there was no problem yet So i think you should sent them all they ask from you, not just that you should, you MUST if you want to cash out.

Alright thanks, I've withdrawn from many of the larger casinos before without ID before now though

Hello Dominic Horsley.I don't think there should be a problem with that.Actually they can't steal your identity...the original documents are in your possession.You send them just a copy of your documents.I also verified my account on lots of casinos and there wasn't any problem regarding my identity.Good luck

Congratulations on your win I have never actually cashed anything out without having to give ID and other documents, I actually thought it was the norm to have to do this.

This is normal protocol.  I can understand how you would feel nervous.  Think about it, you are not the only one. All who receive winnings have to go through the same process.  There is usually a form in which you would have to provide your signature.  All business require some sort of documentation of authorization.  It's just the standard procedure.  Still nervous? - You could not send in your documents... then no winnings received  :'(  then why even play in the first place??

Yes, you have a list of no ID casinos, but I'm not sure how many of them have no deposit bonuses.
