  • I don't no whats happened in the last two months but 80% of my go to casinos that I've deposited many times on and had racked up plenty of VIP levels and verified my ID and account for easy and fast withdrawals have shut the casino doors to players from my country which is a joke cause now ALL CASINOS from my country doesn't let play how that for a laugh i was told through the grape vine it is due to the government bringing in new tax laws where if the company makes money here there getting tax here for it if anyone knows of other reason let me know

  • That sounds really difficult to take and you have my sympathy.

I noticed that many countries with licensed casino's ban their own countries players.

Here in Denmark we can play at unlicensed casino's, but are ourselves liable for personal income taxes on any winnings from said casino's without a Danish license.

But as in your situation a great many casino's will not allow Danish players to register and participate.

As far as licensed online casino's go I remember the first two and for me always the best were Lasseters and Ausvegas, (both based in the land down under) which were I believe the first government licensed casino's on the internet.

Those were cool, but they had to close shop when the USA tightened their laws and these casino's lost their American customers.

    Good luck with your situation.

  • Hello blazehardad,

In November 2016 lawmakers in your country unveiled the Interactive Gambling Amendment Bill 2016. According to this amendment, operators who take bets from players from your country without a local license will be deemed to have broken the law. On the 21st of March 2017, the parliament approved IGA Bill 2016. In light of these pending changes, many big brands are making a decision to simply quit, rather than having to deal with fines and negative publicity. What makes everything even more complicated is the fact everyone’s in the dark about exact amendments that will be adopted, which makes online casino operators even more cautious moving forward. Many of them prefer to remove themselves entirely and wait for the law to become clear, at which point they’ll be able to accurately assess if it is possible and worth to apply for the local license. We'll see what's going to happen once this law becomes clear...

  • Its all about the money the government just has to get their piece of the pie. Gambling in my country is a problem and mostly its the older people that gamble and the younger ones go online as its become more an more popular. Its so taboo here and I prefer to do it in my own home too and i guess its been reflected in their take. I mean they say its to stop people from gambling too much by unregulated online casinos but if that was the case they would just ban land slots all together. A lot of people are betting on sports online too instead of at the tab which is our local sports betting usually on horses and football. The government do not have a right to impose these laws on casinos based in other countries and definitely not on what we spend our money on. Tax is so high here already and there has only been a law to say you need to report any income from overseas so I dont understand the new law. It will all change eventually back to everyone everywhere being able to play online anything, might take a while but still.

  • Hi irinalep,

We all hope your Government won't impose so stiff gambling legislations. It is still unclear what exact amendments will be adopted, but as you've already said; we hope it will all change one day and players from your country will be able to gamble online as they did untill now.

  • Same thing happened to us USA players. Now here we are years later....struggle
