  • What a crazy year this has been! We stop to reflect on how much things have changed, but it's hard to find the right words to describe the rollercoaster of emotions.

It's safe to say we're glad 2020 is over (for the most part). It is now time to leave it behind and move on to bigger and better things with strengthened resolve.

    4th - $50

    Good luck!

  • Thank you for your word.
I obviously wish a cure for this international disease.
Personally, I would love to go back to the cinemas, drink a coffee on the terrace and see my friends again.
I would also like to open a donut store but it is still a secret.
Of course I cannot end without wishing LCB a long life and good health to all.
    Good Luck to all LCB's.

  • My New Year's Resolution is to eat healthier and stay in better shape and excercise more and keep a positive outlook on life all year around, especially during the tougher times. In December we will see where this will get me, but I hope to lose a few kilograms of excess weight, and hopefully with more excercise, I will be better protected from any illness such as your common flu, for example. My resolutions are very personal and have to do with myself as a physical and mental being, but I also wish everyone else a successful and healthy year filled with happiness and pleasant surprises! Let's make 2021 a good one! :-)

  •  Contentment.

  • I don't know if I would call it a New Year's resolution but I know I plan on taking my son to do as many things as possible this year since he spent most of last year inside. I remember being a kid and I can't fathom being stuck in the house for almost a year.

I don't feel like it's a resolution because as long as my son is happy healthy and smiling I feel like everything in my life has been accomplished. Preparing him for life and having fun along the way is the most amazing thing in the world. Watching him grow and learn new things is awesome.

My son has to contend with autism daily. So the joy of seeing him overcome some of his hardships is unexplainable. So I guess my new years resolution is to teach my son all I can this year and every year after...

  • I'm looking forward to my birthday January 16th. I have big plans.  I will be starting my own website that will be covering lots of different topics.  Mainly it will be about mental health and wellness. Tips on releiving stress, meditation that I have found helpful to me.  Disability Advocay, Online casinos!!! Food and crypto currency..  I've always wanted to and it wasn't until I came across LCB that I found things I wanted to write about.  I turn 44 asnd I'm looking forward to every bit of it... Best of luck to everyone. Let's make this the best we've had so far

  • Happy new year, LCB members!!!

For my first resolution of 2021, I will win a Ultra Mega Super Jackpot.

Good luck for you too wink

  • My New Years resolution is not really a resolution but more like a promise myself to do things that make me happy (even in these weird times) and to not wait for good things to just happen and work hard for making things happen. :) Happy New Year!

  • It's more of a plan than a resolution. Anyway, this year, I'd like to clear my backlog as much as I can.

  • Happy New Year Everyone.

I hope to gain more strenth concerning my health through excercise and a better overall diet program.

To smoke less cigs this year and to maintain an bright happy and optimistic outlook.

I hope everyone meets their goals too...

  • For my second resolution 2021, I will become the Super Hero Member of LCB forum thumbs_up

  • The New year's resolutions I had swimming in my ocean adventure of thoughts can be summarized by many words and emotions. I'll begin with my dark thoughts followed by light thoughts.

The first thought as a resolution that occurred to me which still applies to not just myself but for everyone else, our friends and family, is to: Survive the Covid-19 and it's new Covid variant! Here is a 2 minute video to relay my thoughts. Double click as usual. Skip to 0:40 if you prefer.

    https://youtu.be/BmzJF1YBNvc

The challenging past lingers on into 2021 and the normal I knew before won't come back anytime soon. The parties, the friends to hang out, the rollercoaster rides and other goods at Canada's Wonderland. All of this happened over 10 months ago swept up cleanly into the silent darkness. Things like lockdowns will be like this for a long time but there's always light at the end of the tunnel! Even so, if everything should go back to normal in 2021, everything won't be the same. Like a mirror that was once whole, it can't be whole again once it shatters.

    ---

    Now onto my light thoughts!

I've never thought learning and developing from new things was a thing to me. My second thought as a New Year's resolution is to level up with something new. From information videos via LCB (not to worry my lady LCB'ess, we can still make out when no one's looking........5 seconds later, okay the coast is clear!) to knowing Bitcoin Mining & Hashrate and now to learn Stock trading. A complex way for the beginner like myself but it's a step forward!

    ---

The third resolution I had to make 2021 much more memorable than 2020 is by thinking over what I've accomplished, what I can do to make this new year much better (ie. How to convince the 4 lady moderators Sylvanas, Sydney, Melissa and Blueday to pillow fight for power on an all new series of "Pillow Wars").

Overall, I'd also like to hit those mega wins aka gambling por* (meanwhile.......on another tab lol) so that the cold silence of last year would not echo into 2021 and be replaced by loud lasting contentment shared by the people around me!

All in all, surviving, learning new things, reflecting achievements (making out with lady LCB'ess included) and enhancing 2021 to be better are what's written on my New Year's resolutions.

Cheers to all of you in this brand new year!!!!!

  • I've bested all three of them in a pillow war organized by Zuga. That's how he selects contest mods.

  • For my 3rd resolution 2021, I will make 100 withdrawals or more of winnings from casinos 777

  • Happy holidays to all LCB members. Improving and setting goals in 2021 is quite a task!First thing that i learned about setting goals (this is something that i learned in bodybuilding)is that whatever your-mine goal is,rite it down on paper.Over time you move step by step closer to that goal, eventually you will reach it.In gambling it's pretty much the same thing, you must have a responsibility of your findings...So i will do like i always, right down how much can i afford to try my luck in gambling, rest i leave to luck.My goal in 2021 is that when playing in casinos i will act like a machine,i will put all emotions behind because its a machine that im playing against.i_love_lcb

  • Win Jackpot in Slot from 2 Casinos with a good bet ;).

  • My new years Resolution is to settle down get married and hopefully start a family with my beautiful girlfriend

I guess the ole saying, " When One Door Closes, another Definitely Opens Up.

  • It's only been half a month into the new year, and its already been a roller coaster with world events happening around us. Seeing things look dark, made me want to strive to do even better as a person. Every year, people say they want to do good for the world, make more money, get closer to loves ones.. But how often do us actually do so? I've made the same promise to myself year in and year out. I'm happy to say that the year 2020 (although a complete disaster on all fronts) gave me the push to actually follow through with my own goals. I've gotten in touch with a HIV charity here in Dallas, TX, and I commit 3 days out of the week in volunteering. From answering phone calls, mailing out flyers, or even just doing a Starbucks run for the chair members, I've been able to keep myself in line with wanting to give back to the community. I'm a bartender, and the pandemic hit extremely close to home, and we were out of commission for about 3 months. We reopened, but then got closed again since  November due to the rising COVID cases. That pushed me even more to not just care about myself, but to help a bigger pool of people. Since then, I've teamed up with the local Food & Beverage committee, in helping raise funds for service workers who have been let go due to their jobs shutting down. There is nothing like seeing the genuine smile and graciousness of people who truly need it. I know how much I value the help I receive, and to give it back feels amazing. Gaming and playing online is my get away, and I love to do so. But I like to keep on to my resolution, and keep doing what I can, however little or big, to continue the growth of my community. Next up, is a commitment to animal shelters across town, because our furry friends need just as much love as we do.

I hope everyone is making their goals to grow, and to be there for others at the same time. Everyone have a great day, and stay safe. smiley

  • Well, first of all, I send a greeting to all the members of the lcb forum and from my heart I hope that all your projects, goals and illusions are carried out quickly and always wishing you the best for this 2021.

Well, I wanted to let a few weeks go by to be able to understand more this year that it is still very complex for everyone, especially for those of us who belong to the so-called third world countries. I like to be realistic and think about the reality in which I live in order to broadcast a better judgment, I think that this is a call for all of us to be better humans to take care of our fragile world, but also to think more about a precious asset called health, this year as I comment it is still so complex and alive even with the inheritance it has left 2020. One of my goals this year is to continue praying for all of us, to help our neighbors in misfortune, also for the abandoned animals since many are also being affected, we have to believe again in the human being and think powerfully and that also excess Of optimism, do not make confidence win us, it is still early, to be able to say how this 2021 will be but I hope with faith that everything improves and we are all well.

  • I never quite understood how these contests work here on the forum ... could someone please explain to me?

    Hello Everton,

It's quite simple. Please have a look at Sylvanas' first post in this thread HERE. Everything has been explained there.

All you need to do in order to participate in this contest is to write what are your New Year's resolutions in this thread. Simply share your plans for a better 2021 and win a portion of our $500 January prize pool. wink

    Good luck! thumbs_up

  • Well, let's go...
I very much hope that this evil that the world commits is gone so that we can return to normal. I lost my grandparents to this damn disease !!! my plans for 2021 are to be a better person every day, to fight every single day to be able to do my best for my family.
May my cosmetic marketing projects bear fruit and prosper to be able to have stability in my country, which is something very difficult.

Thank you every day for having known this forum in 2015.

    Big hug LCB!

  • I all agree with you Sylvanas that the year 2020 was worse, for me it was the worst year in history. in 2020, between the Covid-19 pandemic, the social and economic crisis and natural disasters, the picture looks dark. this has not been a thrilling year, as a fictional apocalypse might be. She was, in addition to being shaped by pain, terribly mundane, the daily routine turning against us.

With the hope of an effective vaccine against Covid-19, I wish to return to a normal life, to regain good health, to see friends and family members whom I have not seen for a long time because of the pandemic. and especially to devote my time to my wife and my two children and to have a good trip after a year full of anguish.

  • my new year´s resolutions?

    none.
    how do they say -
the way to hell is paved with good intentions (not with actions).

and the last year was kinda highway to hell.

thinking about plans for 2021 I think of Winston Churchill who said:
„if you're going through hell, keep going.“

that's all i guess. just keep going.
i wish all of us the strength to do it.

(of course i don't mind winning a jackpot while walking.)

I know where you're coming from. It's common that sometimes things don't go as planned. Plans are still useful, though. You can have backup plans in case the orginal plans don't work out.

  • actually i could have more then just two plans. if the second doesn´t work either, i might have a third one. and if the backup fails to backup the backup: yes! more plans.

  • Survive.. first of allwink. Then to lose some weight after period of isolation.

  • Thank you LCB for this great contest!!

Every other year where this question has been asked in a competion, i Have only bothered to read probably the 1st ten posts before deciding not to continue reading on because most of these new years resolutions were generally the same eg live a healthier lifestyle, be more of this and less of that and do less of this and more of that etc.

Last years introduction of the coronavirus has changed our lives in ways that we could not have imagined... every one of us has lost more than one thing from this virus... loss of a loved one, loss of income, loss of business, loss of home and loss of health both physical and/or mental.

Unlike other pandemics in history like the plague outbreaks which only desimated parts of the world, this coronavirus pandemic has not spared any continent, killing people of every race, colour, religion and social economic status

this year i have waited till the last minute to reply to this question because i wanted to read as many members post as possible to see how/if last years pandemic has influenced their new years resolution decisions.

Ty to all the members who posted such heartfelt replies, I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts.

FINALLY... my new years resolution is to think before i act.. simple as that!!

happy new years everyone .. stay safe and be kind to one another

  • my resolutions for this year

    Stop smoke

    Focus on a Passion

    Health  Work out

    Travel to saint bart

  • My new years resolution is to make my bed.  Sometimes I do it but most times I forget to do it. Either way, if i cant manage to get this one down pat then I don't see the point of committing to a more challenging resolution.

  • I Will Win some cash n fly myself and my wife to Bahamas...in my Private jet ofc

  • The contest is finished, the winners will be announced soon!

  • NO !!!! why haven't I seen this post before ??? good luck to those who participate
