    I was with my older sister and her soon to be husband and huis brother at a rock concert in the Memorial Collssem in Portland, OR.

    After about an 90 minutes the main act came on. Man you could feel the place become supercharged when the lead singer started up. The band, the singers were rocking and then when they started up the first strings of "Freebird" the house went wild, they followed that with "Sweet Home Alabama"

    It was only three months later, we heard of the tragedy. The plane they were riding on, crashed, killing Allen Collins, Gary Rossington and Ronnie VanZant

    This day, 32 years later I can still recall those songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
