Elvis Presley died 35 years ago today and I remember that day like it was yesterday.

16th August 1977 at the age of 42 - a huge loss to the world of music.

Amazingly, some 70,000 fans went to Graceland for the annual commemoration event. Here is one of my personal faves of his Suspicious Minds.

This reminds me of a Gipsy singer in Romania, quite a character. He's a hardcore Elvis fan with a bit of talent himself, and he decided to adapt some of Elvis' songs to the Gipsy language and culture. Here's one:
