A beautiful horse.....at the mercy of a Monster

Thank you for sharing this Lips. As you know, I am a rescurer of abused animals. I see daily what sadistic humans do to all animals and I help them in as many ways as I can. Lips, you asked: Whats the thrill in doing this? Did it make him feel macho.....did he think it was funny....did he think there would  be applause?
They do these things because they CAN and the law seldom does much about the cruelty. Some people don't care that animals feel pain and love just like we do, they have them only to bully and abuse. I have alot of sleepless nights seeing the cruelty and doing what I can to help them, but they don't have a voice, so I speak for them. We are the voice for the voiceless.

This just made me so sick it wasn't even funny...I moved to Kentucky a while back just to be with the horses.  I love horses so much.  I can't even fathom what makes these people tick.  It's so sad.

The guy punching the horse may have been drunk, , but that too is no excuse..Ever.

In Oregon/Washington, there have been about a dozen cases of animal neglect and I just am STUNNED that these "ahem" people think that this is acceptable to the animals. Hooves not trimmed, starved, too far gone to save (One raid they had to put down 5 of 15) and these people are only now starting to get the jail time they long should have gotten.

The worse thing? They can move about the country and start up again elsewhere. It has happened already and too often...
