    As we prepare this holiday season nestled safe in our homes, our troops are off at war and can not be with loved ones at Christmas. It's a hard time for the the family of soldiers who they hold dear in their hearts.

    For all the soldiers who gallantly fight and defend their country i wish you safety and solace through the holiday season. To the families who will not have their soldier home.....i bid you peace and comfort.

    If you or someone you know won't be home this Christmas, please feel free to give them a mention.

    Yes Lips I agree with you, It must be hard for them and the families of
    those soldiers.
    I have no one over seas, but i do want those that are there defending
    our country to stay safe, and those here at home peace and comfort.

    As a wife as one of those soldiers i want to thank you all for your well wishes.  I have brotherinlaw who is leaving with the fbi for his second tour and my nephew is leaving for his third.  My husband willl leave soon it is so hard and i am so frightened but i am more proud of those men and women who give itall and the families who stay behind and run thier families to support thier loved ones.  God bless everyone those at home those afar and those poor people the innocent ones who live in the mist of it all.

    I do not know how I missed this one be for. That was nice my son is one that is over there. This is the first time I will not see him for the holidays.  :'(

    I really do appreciate the sacrifice they do for us in this war.

    \I am VERY disappointed that we have to actually designate the solider who we send stuff to as I'm sure there's more then one who is alone and is depressed and maybe a gift, expression of thanks would help them through this time of unease.

    If one of you Parents/spouse might pm me an addy, I was thinking of sending some dried drink mix or something like that so they could share it with their comrades also.

    Or maybe a suggestion from you as to what to send?
