    I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer at age 30, a mom of a 2 year old little girl and a 3 year old little boy.  I am having kind of a crap day besides the hours of spinning reels that have kept me semi lucid, and thought I would share that at least I am still here.  There are many people who did and do not make it a year.  I am very blessed.  I spend so much of my time on this forum now and thought, why not a post to teach and celebrate.

    If you haven't heard of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, or IBC, please spend a minute to look it up because it isn't in the same family as the 'feel your boobies' type.  We refer to this as a whole other monster.  It is not detected by a lump, and it goes undiagnosed because it resembles mastitis.  I was very lucky, and very blessed to have caught it when I did and to be so pushy and controlling about it, because I was actually misdiagnosed by the first surgeon as having regular bc.  So I may not be lucky at online gambling  grin  but I know that so far, I am very lucky in life.  Knowledge is power, so I don't think Zuga will mind if I share my personal blog- it is not gambling related, it is my cancer journey from the first week or so.  You don't have to read it, but if you're curious about IBC at all, I have a tab at the top that tells about it.
