Advanced BJ strategy and online card counting

the pro gambler's greatest secret is counting cards at BJ.it might sound difficult to learn it , but its actually easy.Basically you keep a running count starting at 0, you add +1 whenever you see 2,3,4,5,6 and you add -1 to your count, when you see 10,J,D,K,A .the reamining cards 7,8,9, are neutral( its a zero count for them).In normal situation( if you play at real casino, not online), if the count is positive , you should raise the stakes, if its negative, lower them. BUT online casinos are always shuffling the cards, and it that way the counting cards is senseless..unless you chose to play single deck BJ. in that way you can still use the count using only the cards showing at the table.And of course there's no point raising or lowering the stakes as the deck is shuffled after each hand, BUT you could make a slight adjustements to the perfect BJ strategy chart, which can increase your and decrease house advantage(average house advantage is around 0.5%).
When the true count is +1, the player is playing even against the casinos and when the true count is +2, the player has a 0.5% edge and at a true count of +3 the counter has about a 1% edge.

how the count works: Suppose you are dealt a 10,6(16) and the dealer shows a 10, the  count is -1. now basic strategy tells you to HIT and you should, but if you had 5,5,6 vs dealrs 10, the count is +2, then you should STAND rather then HIT. and thats how you make slight adjustements to basic strategy..

here are the Basic Strategy Deviations :

True Count +1 (or more))
Stand on 16 against a 10
Double on 11 vs. ace
Double an 9 vs. 2
Stand on 12 vs. 4

True Count +3 (or more)
Take insurance
Stand on 12 vs. 3
Stand on 12 vs. 4
Double on 9 vs. 7

True Count +5 (or more)
Stand on 15 vs. 10
Split 10`s vs. 5
Split 10`s vs. 6
Double on 10 vs. 10
Double on 10 vs. ace
Stand on 16 vs. 9

True Count -1 (or less)
Hit 12 vs. 6
Hit 13 vs. 2

True count -2 (or less)
Sit out hands or bet as small as possible or leave the table.

There's a new movie out "21" (I've seen a trailer not long ago) inspired by true story of the couting group consisting of MIT student. It seems far fetches sometimes (pitbosses with guns? etc) but I think this is a must see for all of us

OK, I've already seen the Movie, don't want to reveal anything so I'll just say that it's very entertaining but for us experts the details about BJ might seem a bit hmm far-fetched and inaccurate
