Weird story I find just surfing online:
Seth Horvitz, a 38-year old man in Washington D.C., ordered a flat-screen television through Amazon online ordering system. Days later he had received his package and was surprised to find that a television was not in the box, but a military-grade assault rifle that is priced around $2,000.
Some how Horvitz’s name wound up on the UPS label with his address, but the invoice in the package was to a gun store in Pennsylvania. He didn’t want the gun and knew it was illegal to both have the gun and drive with it in a vehicle, so he called the police. The police arrived at his apartment and confiscated the gun, as well as opened up an investigation into how this happened and if its happened before.
“I would like to know how this type of mix-up could take place, especially with what’s going recently, these mass shootings. I don’t want to be in a situation where this type of weapon can just show up on someone’s doorstep accidentally,” said Seth.
Any thoughts?

He canceled the order on the used TV, which he was going to use as a computer monitor. By the shape of the box it was obviously not the TV he ordered. It's not like the gun was in the TV package- it was intended to be shipped to a gun shop. The third party seller may be the one who made the big mistake, not amazon. Amazon only hosted the transaction.

They can seize them by prying them out of a lot of cold dead hands, is all. There'll still be more. Make one on a laser printer.
We hang 'em in the back window of our pickup trucks around here, so people can see them. And we hang our deer over the hood or on the roof rack or in the back of the station wagon with their tongues hanging out for all down the highway to see and admire. We stand in fields on the side of the interstate highways with our shotguns and shoot any dove that flies by. Good luck seizing the rifles and shotguns we keep in plain sight, and the other weapons that are concealed. -

Seizing guns would started a black market epidemic. We would prolly end up with even more guns on the streets. I don't see the need for any guns period unless you are law enforcement. Leave the animals alone to run free, let the kids in schools remain safe, stop gang drive by shootings and stop the crime of passion!

Johnny...not sure what country you are residing. In the USA there are 300+million guns in circulation. How does the government seize all those?
I live in Romania and we have around 6,000 registered firearms overall, population is just under 20 million. And that is because you can't get a firearm just like that over here, you need all sorts of documents and tests before you can apply for a permit. As far as I can remember we had just one shooting last year, and that was a police officer killing his wife out of jealousy.
As far as I know state and local law enforcement agencies in the US have around 1.1 million employees, so I guess each of those could seize 300 guns in a year or maybe two if the government would really want that. -
