Anyone every have an OMG Almost?

When i was a teenager i grew up in Long Beach Calif. I was in a gang, it was spanish style all girl, the original name was "Las Hermanas" but as this gang grew there were different ethnic races joining, so the name was changed to "The Troop" we were very popular, not that we were bad girls, we were just down right good party girls. The Troop is still alive today although the original members have long gone it was carried on and we are not forgotten as founders. My nickname was jingles btw because i always wore bells on my shoes lmao.. We had jackets and sweatshirts with our nicknames on front and "The Troop" in old english writing on back LB standing for Long Beach just under as our logo.

We partied everywhere with every other gang we could get, up to hundreds of miles away (we had a rep for throwing down some parties) and even with our rivals though sometimes those didn't go so well lol... and see partying was the thing them, dancing, meeting guys, getting drunk, chilling and having a good time was our thing, not fighting or causing trouble.

Another thing we did was cruise whittier blvd, lowriders, good looking guys, music of the oldies galore. As we were cruising there was another car just next to us, they was mugging and looking all mean, we wasn't thinking nothing of it we was trying to have a good time. That car got into a left turn lane and we were on the far right, suddenly POW, a bullet flew right through the drivers side window of our car and out the passenger side, IF me or my friend would have been leaning just a fraction of an inch forward that bullet would of been in the brain. To this day i can still feel the heat and the burn of that bullet that flew pass my forehead, still smell it.. for about a week i had a slight burn mark.

I think about this day and say OMG i could of died that day, fate had us in the upright position and our Angels were on guard. Everything in my life i have and have gained, went through.. whether it was good or bad.. would not be happening right now...
I thank God for my life.

Ishin...All i can say is OMG!! But it is nice they all missed and we are able to have you here today... but OMG!!!

i dated a guy that was violent when he drank(i was 18 and thought i was in love) years later when i was 25 i saw him in burger king and he wanted to get back with me.I said hecks no.Then my mom called me 2 weeks later and said he was in the paper and news he killed his ex girlfriend and himself omg i thought that could have been me. Im not happy by no means it happened to the other young lady.The things we do when were young smh.(smh means shake my head) :'(

i know that was very tragic im just thankful i had an angel with me it still makes me sad even now to know i could have not been here and not had the chance to bring a little brightness to the peoples lives i touch thanks you guys

Exactly Rena, we are very happy to have you here.. i know what you mean, it could of been her life spared and not yours.. but we never know, fate stepped in, destiny grabbed hold, and an angel was on it's guard!

Nope, didn't hit the wall or other traffic, but WOW!!!

Yes, I have had several too.  I pray every day that I can keep my kids from having not a single, much less as many 'OMG' moments as I have.  At least, none caused by me or any that I could have prevented.
