    I really thought when Josh said he was gonna sing Etta James' At Last he could never compete to such a classic and one of my all time fav songs.

    We he belted that song out it actually choked me up. He knocked it out of the ball park and now cuz of this thread gabby i am for sure gonna start watching this show.

    Wow.  You could tell she was nervous at the start but she has a tone and kind of 'lift' at certain notes that was really moving.

    OMG, Lips, you HAVE to watch X Factor.  You will be instantly addicted.
    I love American Idol but it doesn't hold a candle to X Factor.  The talent is amazing.  The auditions just got over (Wed and Thur) from 7-9pm, central time, and now it is boot camp time.  After that, the judges will each take a group and work with them.

    The audtions were not a huge joke like AI.  They had some awful singers but focused more on the good.

    Simon is still brutally honest but kinder in a way.  Thanks the awful ones for coming.  Paula is coherent this year.

    Whats so amazing about this show is how much talent is out there. All shapes and sizes and ages. Most have no training, just a dream and god given talent.
    Gosh I love this country!!!!!  and Simon is actually showing signs of having a heart, I had my doubts. 

    everyboby should tune in, even if you dont like these types of shows, you will be hooked.

    Yes I'm loving x factor more than American Idol for sure! I like Jazzlyn Little! wow! I wish she had more confidence though
