Are you more afraid of getting what you think you deserve or not?

              Hey guys,  sorry,  don't mean to get all deep and everything but I was cleaning out  the hoard known as my room  a little while ago and this deep thought kind of came over me when I was going through old papers and photos, etc.  and I decided to use it as a topic.  I  think I could go easily in either direction;  now this doesn't have to necessarily apply to any one thing, it's kind of broad.  I might elaborate later.  Sometimes I don't think my Karma is working the way I feel it should but I suppose it could always be worse.  Okay, sorry, I'm officially rambling now.  How about it?

Karma is just an excuse some people use when things go bad.

Just as luck is not something that just happens,  its something people make for themselves

            Sorry RJ,  I should have made it a little clearer.  Do  you feel like you are getting your just desserts  for whatever effort you have put forth or you are getting a raw deal?  Like I said, this can be applied to many situations,  not just gambling.    Karma was just an example,  good point Ohmesohrny.

You mean in general or in life, or in things that we do, like things we put effort into, well no i dont feel i get what i deserve, i expect more in a lot of situations, but i never get back what i give out, if that answers what you mean

No I don't think you get back what you deserve.  I think life can be cruel to the kindest of people and life can be kind to the cruelest of people.  I'm not afraid of getting what I deserve - I try to be kind in every way I can, so if life is cruel to me, it's not my making.

I agree with Blue, life isn't always fair. However, I try to be kind and helpful, I rarely argue with anybody and I always try to do the right thing. Sometimes it pays off, most times it doesn't, that's life.

I think that at the end everything is balanced out. In my opinion, it's hard for people to appreciate good stuff and situations around them, and are more focused on bad things. Once person starts counting and concentrating on bad luck, whining and misery, it's hard to get out of that mindset.
We forgot to celebrate small things and simple pleasures, and we take things for granted.

            Wow,  this is getting more than I anticipated.  I didn't mean to be so obscure--really it sounded better in my head than I could put into words.    Kind of nice to every now and then to go off on a philosophical tangent.

I for one sometimes feel like i was dealt a bad hand in life,then i remember there are people out there way less fortunate then me and i count my blessings.It could be a lot worse.
