  • Our casino just had a contingency seminar with the growing economic sentiment that is growing globally. I have worked in the brick and mortar side of the industry since 2007, right before the housing crash, global economic downturn of 2008-2010.

If your site isn't prepared, be warned now that the forecasted global economy, in tandem with the ongoing Pandemic, we are forecasting a reduction in patron activity upwards of 50% by the end of the year. With inflation soaring, discretionary income has become tight, and frankly, if your site has high volatility games, loosen your purses now, and in the future, or be prepared to sink into obscurity.

The amount of people living pay cheque to pay cheque is risen substantially, and when the economic bottom falls out, that income will dry up completely. This will affect every one of us. Be in talks with your platforms. You will have a segment of players who will play this off, not be affected... but are you willing to risk the majority of YOUR income?

If your site does not have the liquidity, the financial backing to weather this coming storm, be prepared to suffer financially.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, but the days of tight slots is over. If you want to keep customers, now is the time to start building a better VIP or players club program, a better comp system... perks for your loyal patrons. If you don't have these now, or if you don't plan on using them, be prepared to be on the losing side. The global economy is forecast to experience hardships not seen since the 70's. Be warned. Be prepared.

  • Hi waynemasters

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and bringing awareness to our forums for our fellow Casino Reps! Strange times are ahead of us! We must know how to be sustainable during these times and think strategically for what is to come. As for the gamblers, they will gamble with a purpose..a purpose to better their status and of course win money! This is why VIP or Players Club as you mentioned, will be an important feature to have as members of such clubs will have many perks and advantages. This will be beneficial for the gamblers experience during the hard times ahead of us..

Once again, thanks for the heads up! smiley

  • Hi King Nemo,

I appreciate your reply and feedback. The NYSE closed yesterday down 880 points, Thursday's close was down 650 points... The NYSE future open for Monday morning is down over 800 points - at the opening bell. This should scare even the most ardent of cast iron nerves.

When top management called our two-day meeting, it was completely unexpected. Especially after just recovering (thank God) from the worst of the Pandemic, that event alone we had to furlough almost a third of our employees, shut down almost half of our operations. Even with our app online, it didn't cover a fraction of what we lost over a 18-month period.

It's always been said that "people always find money for gambling." That may have been true at one time, but what's to come is a major exception. Governments, especially The States, printed far too much money, had to pass stimulus packages adding to skyrocketing global debt... I don't think this was unavoidable. The Economist who was at our presentation noted the 1918 influenza Pandemic, and the Great Depression that followed 10 years later... and how at that point the global debt was much less of an issue. Not so in today's world. Debt is killing and has our livelihood.

But we'll see what happens. I just wanted to share with what we learned, because the "easy money" will be gone from our patrons. I hate to sound like that, but there's really no other way to phrase it. Wishing us all the best in what's to come with what will be the worst economy in 50 years.

  • Hello again, I have a question and I hope someone can help me answer it. So I won at SpinoVers casino with a bonus that I got from your website. It was a $20 droller credit and I won $720 dollars off of it. I know that I will not be able to cash out all of it but anything would be great. I verified my account by sending in all the required paper work to the casino and the account no longer appears as unverified. That is great but the thing is that they are asking me to make a deposit of $25 dollars and play them one time through and after that I will be able to withdraw. They said I was able to put in the request now before depositing but only after adding the money and playing them one time through will it be accepted and processed. I want to know if this is the process in most of these casino types. Or is it just a lie to get you to add money to your account and play them and never go through with your withdrawal? I am a little unsure if I should continue through with this or just forget it. I mean this looks like a legit casino site but I am not really sure if this sounds about right. Can someone please help me with this doubt because I am in Mexico and $25 dollars is not as easy to get as in the USA here? I mean I have them but to just blow them away like that I can't afford it. In that case, I would add them to a casino that I really do enjoy not these types of casinos that are really not fun at all. The games are all the same boring games with boring bonuses. So if someone can please help me with this I would greatly appreciate it so I can either add the $25 and play them through and hopefully be able to sucsefully withdraw at least $100. That would be a $75 profit and that is pretty good. Also what didn't really seem to be correct to me is that for the withdrawal they ask you for the account number only and not the routing number or the interbank code that every other casino asks you for when making a withdrawal.

  • If Mexico is not a restricted country playing at their site, I would think that once you complete their KYC, you should be able to cashout with no issues. As others have said in other similar posts, always read each casinos terms and conditions closely. I started using Crypto two years ago because it eliminates the frustration of the bank declining a gaming charge, or in one case, my bank revoked my card altogether for trying to use it for gaming. The last time I played at Platinum Reels, or one of its sites was years ago when they used Microgaming as their platform. It's been a long time. Wishing you the best, congrats on your win!

This is the standard procedure for no deposit bonuses.  It's called a verification deposit.
