Awesome visit to land based casino last night!

My hubby & I snuck off to our local LB Casino last night for a much needed break of mindless slot spinning.  My luck was terrible although I finally did get a chance to play a couple of the newer slots they have which are always busy....sucks they only have 2 of each one.  Aladdin and Lord of The Rings...been dying to try them out. The two sets of slots are next to each other and I sat down to play Aladdin while hubby went to Lord of The Rings.  Mind you, he has NEVER seen one of the LOTR movies...has no clue who any of the characters are, just wanted to play the game to see if he could end the evening winning something as both of us were losing.

I played Aladdin for quite a time, starting with $20 and working my way up to $140 after about 30 minutes, betting .80...which is a low wager for me!  I kept watching my hubby at the far end because his machine seemed to be doing WAY better than mine, getting into bonus round after bonus round.  Now, this is a man who almost always bets the lowest wager he can...because he just can't justify those $2 - $4 wagers which almost always drain his account balance in a blink of an eye.  He has seen how those big wagers can pay off though, because I've done it numerous times.

I finally got bored with Aladdin (VERY fun game by the way, exciting bonus rounds that CAN pay nicely) and decided to sit next to hubby as the other LOTR slot opened up.  I didn't do well on the game but it was really fun.  My hubby had worked his way up from $6 to $75 betting .40 and was also getting bored...and tired...as it was just after midnight.  He shocked me when he said, "I think I'll bet max credits so we can go home"...meaning, "let me just throw my money away quickly"...within a few spins, he hit  a couple of nice rounds which also gave him some of those power spins which neither of us really understood....but he had 10 of the one which gives you random wilds...up to all five if you are lucky enough to hit it!

Well....he managed to get his balance up to just over $142 and I said, "Go for it...press the power spin and choose ALL 10 w/ 10x multiplier".  So...here we go....thinking MAYBE he might come away with a couple hundred on one spin betting max credits.  Before our very eyes....FOUR expanding wilds!!!  We could not believe what we were seeing....by the time the total was tallied...it was a $1220 win!!  I snapped a quick photo of the slot after the attendent came and did his thing...if you look closely at the lower right you can see the $1220 number was collected.

After hubby received his cash, he played a little longer (betting max credits) and finally got into a bonus round where he made a couple hundred more.  We left shortly after that!  Hubby is now a believer in SOMETIMES wagering a little higher than .30-.40 when a machine "feels hot"!!  What a great way to end the evening...and I couldn't be happier for my man because this is the most he has ever won in his years playing slots....and he deserved it.

very nice..I will have to try this game-I see it in all the casinos but am not a big fan of the fancy slots though I love expanding wild games..congrats on the win

Holy macccccccccccccc what a ss hymacaw!!! You must of jumpin up and down! I have played that slot at land based but never had luck. I may have to try it again. Huge congrats to you!!!!!!!!

Yep...that's MY motto!  But, being the truly awesome man that he is...he gave me most of the cash this morning and said "now go buy your truck a new set of tires"...what a guy huh?  The rest goes into his elk hunting fund he said.  I think I'll keep him.
