    Beef is so expensive here and ground turkey is getting that way so I am experimenting with chicken.  I can by 4lbs of chicken breast for $7 and I am trying my hand at substituting it for other meats.  I only eat chicken breasts but so far I have made jerky and breakfast sausage and ground chicken.  I figure if ground beef is $4 a pound I can save money by using chicken.  I am also trying to make my own summer sausage.

    Wmmeden you are so right with saving and dishes can be just a as good! I eat chicken more often then beef cuz i am not a big beef lover. You can improvise on so many dishes. What i like to do is boil a bunch of chicken and make a lot of different dishes out of it like chicken noodle soup, chicken salad and even chicken tacos are good!
